Upon hearing Zuke's request, Nail shot him a questioning look, as if silently asking, "Are you really capable of that?"
However, Zuke didn't bother to explain, and Nail didn't press further. He simply translated Zuke's request to Shenron in the Namekian language.
After listening to Nail, Shenron looked down at Zuke, and they locked eyes, one human and one dragon, in a silent stare-off. Eventually, Shenron broke the silence with his deep voice:
"I don't sense that kind of superpower within you. This wish is beyond my ability."
Hearing this, Zuke glanced back at the black bird standing behind him—he hadn't dismissed his Stand after summoning it to cut his finger earlier.
But despite staring at Zuke for quite a while, Shenron hadn't looked at the black bird even once.
Clearly, even Shenron couldn't perceive powers from other worlds, nor could he sense the "time-stopping" ability of the black bird.
"It seems using the Dragon Balls to enhance my Stand's abilities won't work… It probably can only evolve through methods from the JoJo world."
Zuke wasn't disappointed, as he'd only made the wish on a whim. Since it wasn't feasible, he decided to move on:
"Then, without impairing my spaceship's flight capabilities, add a Hyperbolic Time Chamber effect inside."
The Hyperbolic Time Chamber, a training facility unique to the Dragon Ball world, has ten times Earth's gravity and thin air. Spending a year inside only passes a day outside.
This facility had provided massive support to the main characters in the original series. Before the Cell Games, Goku and Gohan trained inside to reach their astonishing power levels.
In Dragon Ball Super, Frieza found another Hyperbolic Time Chamber and trained for ten years inside, emerging much stronger.
If Zuke wanted to quickly surpass Frieza, training was essential; shortcuts alone wouldn't be enough.
Otherwise, his power would remain hollow, resulting in ineffective attacks, as if even Bardock would facepalm at his sloppy technique.
But with only eight hours per visit to the Dragon Ball world and the uncertainty of finding a suitable training space, Zuke thought it best to create one himself.
Initially, Zuke had planned to modify his spherical spaceship into a large spherical ship with a gravity chamber, like the one Goku used to travel to Namek in the original story.
But since he had acquired a cube-shaped spaceship from Zuno, he decided to modify that instead.
Nail conveyed Zuke's new wish to Shenron, and this time, Shenron had no issue. He gave an OK sign with one thick finger:
"No problem. Your second wish is granted—I've added a time flow adjustment setting to your spaceship. You can now control its internal time flow relative to the outside world."
This was like an added bonus from Shenron. Similar little conveniences had happened before in the original series.
Now, when Zuke visited the Dragon Ball world, his eight hours would feel like over 120 days, giving him plenty of time to train.
The only downside might be the boredom—Zuke was a modern human, not a true Saiyan battle maniac who would never tire of training.
Still, he could consider it mental discipline. To become a true Dragon Ball powerhouse, one had to endure solitude.
"Last wish—go on," Nail urged Zuke, noticing he seemed satisfied.
"For my third wish, let me master all the techniques and moves of the Turtle School from Earth. Is that possible?" Zuke nodded at Nail.
Currently, a lack of combat techniques was a serious disadvantage for Zuke.
When facing weaker opponents, brute strength was enough, but against someone like Frieza, skill was vital.
At the very least, he needed to avoid leaking energy with every ki blast.
Although Zuke had managed to release ki blasts, his attacks often wasted a lot of energy due to relying solely on instinct.
Maximizing "ki" efficiency was the essence of Dragon Ball's techniques, with the Kamehameha being a prime example.
Since Shenron couldn't directly enhance his power, Zuke thought perhaps Shenron could help with his technique instead.
Though Nail didn't understand what Earth or the Turtle School were, he conveyed Zuke's wish to Shenron.
"…I'm sorry, I can't grant that wish. To accomplish that, I'd need to modify your body further, but your power already exceeds my creator's capabilities."
After hearing the wish, the Namekian Shenron looked embarrassed and somewhat regretfully explained.
"I can only give you the methods for learning these techniques so you can train yourself."
It was strange—Shenron could grant Zuke immortality, yet couldn't give him the Turtle School's techniques. Shenron's limits were indeed puzzling.
This kind of inconsistency happened in the original series as well—unable to turn androids back into humans, yet able to remove the bombs inside their bodies, leaving one to wonder just how much control Shenron truly had over them…
But this wasn't a big deal; even if he only got the methods, it was still acceptable.
Since Zuke already had ki control, learning Turtle School techniques would be easier. With the Hyperbolic Time Chamber ability now on his spaceship, he could train efficiently.
In this setup, if he couldn't master the Turtle School techniques and Kamehameha within a short period, he'd start doubting his Saiyan heritage.
Since he still had over two hours left in the Dragon Ball world, this meant he could actually train for over 30 days on his spaceship.
It should be more than enough.
"If there are no objections, I'll grant this wish."
Seeing Zuke raise no objections, Shenron nodded.
Instantly, a flood of technique knowledge poured into Zuke's mind. Just as he'd expected, it included not only the Turtle School's energy-focusing techniques but also various moves from the school.
Besides the iconic Kamehameha and Afterimage Fist, there were even obscure moves like the Bankoku Bikkuri Sho, which appeared only once in the manga.
Oddly enough, it also included Drunken Fist, Rock-Paper-Scissors, and Good Boy Sleeping Fist (a hypnosis technique)—all moves Master Roshi had indeed used in the World Martial Arts Tournament.
"All your wishes have been granted. Farewell."
With that, Shenron slowly disappeared in a flash of light, rising skyward before splitting into seven stones and scattering across Namek.
The darkened sky returned to its former brightness.
"Your wishes have been granted, and you've achieved your goals, haven't you?" Nail asked Zuke.
"More or less."
Zuke clenched his fists, feeling the transformation within himself.
Compared to when he first arrived on Namek, he now had his potential unlocked, immortality, and newfound knowledge of the Turtle School's techniques and moves.
The only drawback was that he couldn't measure his current power level. But… wasn't Nail standing right here as a perfect benchmark?
He recalled that Nail's power level was over 40,000—around 42,000. If he sparred with Nail, he'd get a good idea of where his power level stood.
To be continued…
P.S. I used Shenron instead of Porunga cuz Shenron name has infinite aura man.
BTW, Hoi Ningen, FBI is after you after going through your search history. Hand over your Power Stones to me so I can bribe them for you winks.
