Takumi looked at Ningguang up and down as if she were some kind of extraordinary being.

Ningguang took a deep breath, unable to contain her excitement. "Manager, how much is it? I want it!"

Takumi glanced at the system-generated price, and his eyelid twitched.

A regular pseudo-legendary, such as a baby Gible, costs fifty million Mora.

The shiny version, however, increased the value by twenty times!

Despite the exorbitant price, neither Takumi nor Ningguang thought it was unreasonable.

"To buy a priceless shiny pseudo-legendary with a mere billion Mora—what a steal!" Ningguang thought as she took another deep breath. With her decisive personality, she gestured for one of the secretaries to take out the massive deposit certificate.

Meanwhile, Hu Tao, Xiangling, and Hongyi were stunned by the price tag of one billion Mora.

A shiny pseudo-legendary of a different color—there were few people in all of Liyue Port who could afford such a price in one go. Ningguang was one of them.

Hu Tao and Xiangling felt both excited and somewhat dejected.

If they had drawn a shiny Beldum, it wouldn't be a matter of simply letting it go; they wouldn't have the option to keep it. Even though Hu Tao had the wealth of the Wangsheng Funeral Parlor behind her, Xiangling would have to borrow money just to make ends meet.

After a while, Takumi took the Beldum out from the breeding room.

For a Pokémon of this mechanical species, the cells are made up of magnets, and strong magnetism replaces the circulation of blood in its body.

Thus, Beldum floated in the air, its magnetic repulsion allowing it to levitate.

"Beldum, this big sister will be your trainer from now on."

Beldum's eye spun around, showing curiosity and shyness. It floated around Ningguang twice.

When Ningguang opened her arms, Beldum slowly floated over.

However, as Ningguang hugged her new Pokémon, a bead of sweat appeared on her forehead.

It was quite heavy—about twenty or thirty kilograms...

And this was only in its newborn state. When it evolves, wouldn't it weigh over a hundred kilograms?

Before leaving, Ningguang asked Takumi to play the video of Hu Tao and Xiangling's battle.

"Will Pokémon battles become the goal for all trainers?" Ningguang asked, noting Beldum's increased interest as it watched the video, suddenly becoming spirited.

Ningguang looked up and asked Takumi earnestly.

"The world of Pokémon isn't just about trainers," Takumi replied. "There are also breeders, coordinators, and researchers."

"Even among trainers, there are many who aren't interested in battling and prefer a more peaceful approach."

"However, competition and battle embody the dreams of Pokémon and trainers. Just like the story I told you about the Hoenn Champion Steven and the Sinnoh Champion Cynthia—every Champion achieved their position through regional competitions."

Takumi shifted his tone.

"That's why I plan to promote all the systems of the Pokémon world here in Liyue Port, and eventually across all of Teyvat—including the most thrilling and captivating of all: Pokémon battles."

Ningguang wasn't surprised to hear this. She had been captivated by the battle video, just as any ordinary person would be.

She was about to speak.

Then Takumi continued describing his business plan:

"I intend to make Pokémon popular throughout Teyvat, laying the foundation for popularizing multiple professional systems."

Ningguang: ???

Taking a deep breath, she asked, "Do you have enough Pokémon eggs for such an ambitious plan? When word spreads that there's a one-billion-Mora shiny Pokémon available, all of Liyue Port will go crazy."

"Many people will come with intentions to buy."
