บท 54: Aerial Madness, Rope Girl!

Blue Garden Hotel, 10th Floor…

Scott's boots crunched against broken glass and debris as he approached the gas-dispensing contraption. The red mist hissed ominously and poured into the air with a sinister persistence.

But it wasn't the machine that froze him mid-step.

It was the two figures crumpled beside it.

"Maya…"

Her condition was especially horrifying.

Her exposed skin was blistered and raw as it sizzled faintly under the effects of the corrosive gas. The light purple of her costume was charred and stained and her face twisted in agony even in unconsciousness.

By comparison, Vincent looked merely unconscious, though the reddish hue creeping over his skin indicated he wasn't far from a similar fate.

"What the hell happened here?"

Scott's breath hitched.

[IS THAT PULSAR??]
