The female and male hunters before Camelia were visibly stunned, their expressions reflecting the unexpected turn of events.

From a young age, hunters believed that a guide was a fragile entity they were bound to protect and nurture. These societal expectations were deeply rooted in their culture.

The guides were usually pampered and suppressed since birth to ensure they never developed past their role.

But Camelia was different.

She had been the best magician in her time, and that had not changed since she had been reborn. If anything, she seemed to have gotten even stronger.

'Master always said that emotions affect magic's strength, and you needed to keep yourself calm to exert the same force every time.'
