บท 63: †FINALLY†

Weeks had passed since Aria and Ryan nearly kiss and the fateful Truth or Dare game, that had left an unmistakable rift between Samuel and Ryan. The tension between them was like a living entity that occupied the little space of their underground haven and despite their efforts to avoid each other, the proximity was inescapable, with every encounter being strained and awkward.

Samuel and Ryan moved with caution around eachother, whenever their paths crossed they always avoid eachother gaze. The air always seems thick with unspoken resentment and their silence that was masking the turmoil beneath was really suffocating.

Meanwhile, Aria's injuries had made so musch progress. Her wrist that was once wrapped in a bandage is now bare. The skin was still tender but it was healing. Her leg too that was once reliant on her walking stick for support, had strengthened and her little limp kept diminishing with each passing day.
