บท 9: The Stunning Fairy
By the time he finished his study, the needle in the clock had pointed to 6. Li Fenshuang felt somewhat peculiar. It was always at this hour that he finished his routine.
Instead of being absent again, he decided to attend the first 5 periods before he left for the competition. Although he was not sure where the next match would be held, surely it wouldn't be too far from the initial location.
After doing his usual morning routine, he was ready in his school uniform. Since his breakthrough, his physique, instead of becoming even more bulkier, has slimmed down and seems to have condensed, becoming very hard and compact.

He suddenly remembered something.

The elders bickered among themselves amusedly, clearly not taking anything seriously. Li Fenshuang was too speechless to say anything, so he could only walk away, letting the oldies have their private, special time with each other.
He shivered. What a way to put it.
Big Ji suddenly glanced at Li Fenshuang's way. His eyes narrowed a little. Someone seems to be talking bad about him; he's not sure though...

Some classmates invited him to join their bidding after school, but he could only refuse politely. It's good to maintain a healthy relationship, but being too close is not feasible.
He's not being arrogant, but the Jin High School is actually a very rural place. His true competitors in the Final Examination would be those from cities, and perhaps even the prodigies of those secret forces.
He could only try his best to compete.

"Why should I?"
Noticing Li Fenshuang's confusion, the teacher in charge was so dumbfounded he almost laughed. A student of our school bravely entered the competition and managed to pass the preliminary match, becoming a contestant in the top hundred.
The Jin High School would be a disgrace if they didn't come to support him!

Li Fenshuang thought of it as a way of comfort to show that the school cared. He doesn't mind though. He just wants the money. Any other distractions would not be able to bother him.

This time, Li Fenshuang was surprised. He cursed himself inwardly. Was I that bad?

The teacher gave him a shove before he ran somewhere else. He walked away excitedly as he disappeared from his view.
Li Fenshuang could only scratch his head before he ran to the square town. No need to think so much.
"Ah, there you are!"
A crisp, melodious voice called him out. Li Fenshuang instinctively turned around. His eyes widened at the sight of a familiar lady.
"It's you."
"It is me, the country-toppling beauty. Do you like what you see?"
The lady playfully sways her body around. Perhaps if she could be seen by others, the passersby would be stunned by her sheer beauty. The stunning lady is indeed very mesmerizing!
Li Fenshuang creased his eyebrows.
"I have a feeling that you are not here for these bits. Usually, a stunning lady is quite stingy when it comes to their times."
"No way, I was found out?"
The lady sarcastically rolled her eyes. Li Fenshuang was somewhat embarrassed. It was so obvious, but he just had to say it. It seems like he must train his auxiliary skills in his free time.
"Right, I have something for you in case you can't meet the requirements of those top universities."
The lady gave out a simple letter that came out of her bosom. Li Fenshuang was shaken for a moment before he became dumbstruck.
"This..."
"A recommendation letter for the Northern Star University. You do have to take a couple of tests for it to be useful. However, I'm sure you can pass them."
The lady shrugged her shoulders, but Li Fenshuang was still struck by the letter in his hands.
The Northern Star University! The acknowledged number-one university on the Blue Earth! Li Fenshuang must take a double look before he realizes the letter is real.
It was truly real!
He took a couple of deep breaths, trying to suppress this raging excitement that couldn't be quelled. He gave the lady a deep look.
He learned his lesson. There was no need to ask unnecessary questions. This letter was enough to confirm everything. The lady merely showed a mischievous smirk.
"Aren't you curious about who am I?"
"That's not important. Senior gave me such a huge opportunity. Please take care of me."
He did not hesitate to bow, expressing the form of sincerest gratitude he knew of. The lady just giggled as she leisurely floated in the air.
"You're quite smart. Not bad. I do have expectations of you, so I hope you won't disappoint me!"
This recommendation letter is basically a golden ticket.
What he lacked the most was time! If he had enough time, with his talent, breaking through wouldn't be difficult! Although it won't be as easy as drinking water, it would not pose a problem.
Even if he failed to get into his desired university, with this recommendation letter, he could prepare himself thoroughly by using the rest of the two months.
