For some reason, Liam Smith understood the unspoken words exchanged, even if the Young miss Kingston said nothing after.

Even a fool could tell that she did not want to associate with him at all.

That word 'Just,' he suddenly realized that he hated it deeply because she had described his career and himself as nothing worth mentioning in her presence.

For Liam, whom others have praised to be as handsome a piece of jade, and like a prince straight out of fiction stories since he was a child, this was a big blow to his pride.
