"Good," Aurora withdrew her gaze. "Don't attempt to do anything that will stress me."
Xander nodded in understanding. "Of course, I will only listen to my wife."
Though he said that, Aurora simply didn't trust him and she didn't care that he knew about it.

The next day after work, Olivia drove to the Swift Residence after receiving her mother's persistent calls.
The housekeeper received her coat at the door before she trotted in with a tinge of annoyance in her brows.
"Why do you keep calling like I don't have any job to attend to?" Olivia inquired as soon as she sat on the sofa and faced her mother.
"My daughter refused to show up in front of me since her father's funeral, what was I supposed to do?" Stella asked and without waiting for a response, she added, shifting her gaze to Olivia's baby bump, "How is my grandson doing?"
