"Now you understand why I had to hide my identity from you, right?" Sawyer asked, taking her hand and kissing it gently. 

"Yeah…" 

Sawyer sighed deeply before he said, "I'm so frightened that you will run away from me, Abby. Especially when Brody was so daring, calling you my girlfriend when we had not even started dating." 

Abigail couldn't help but laugh as she recalled what happened that night. "Hahaha, I remember that. It was the first time you came to my home, right?" 

"Yes. That time, I forgot to tell Brody I would drive you home. That's why he immediately opened the gate when he saw my car." 

"I still cannot imagine how you successfully hid your real identity and fooled me that night, Mr. Jones." She narrowed her eyes at him. 

Just as Abigail was about to scold him for deceiving her, her stomach growled. She stifled a laugh, too shy to make such a sound.
