บท 18: Chapter 18 – Vs All Might in Training

After a minute of preparation, I found myself in the middle of the street with Todoroki. He glanced at me with a questioning look as he put his hands in his pockets.

"Let's do it as planned." I said as I scanned the area around us. "You distract him while I sneak behind him and steal the suitcase. I have to be quick and efficient, so don't fight him too much."

"Yeah, whatever."

After I heard his disinterested answer, I activated my quirk and disappeared from his sight. In the eyes of others, it looked like I was completely gone from this place.

"Good luck, Todoroki."

He nodded at my voice and looked straight ahead as we waited for the start signal.

Meanwhile, I already moved to the highest building I could see. I needed a height advantage to find All Might's position and detect him in time. The villain started on the other side of the city. But I doubted All Might would need a long time to reach where the suitcase was.

Climbing the building wasn't hard at all with my physical abilities. I reached the rooftop quickly and looked down at the city below me. It was well-designed and looked like a real city. It was good for this training purpose.

And in the distance, I saw a familiar figure running towards us. It was All Might, wearing his ridiculous outfit that resembled a certain Marvel hero. But his ass wasn't as good as the Captain. He was just too big.

'Here he comes.'

I counted down the time until he reached my location. At that moment, my eyes widened. He didn't try to head to the suitcase but where our start was.

"No good!"

When he was close enough, I jumped down and landed on top of him with all my weight. The sudden action caused him to fall to the ground with me on top of him.

"Huh?"

Boom!

All Might turned to look behind him in shock as he found me standing there. I was out of my invisibility and was grinning at him.

"To think you would go straight toward us. Aren't you supposed to find the suitcase first?"

"Oh no! Young Saiki! You scared me! I didn't know you were so aggressive!"

He laughed heartily as he stood up and shook his head.

"But there is no rule that the villain has to go to the suitcase immediately, right?"

He smirked at me as he held out his hands to block any attacks from me. But he underestimated my ability.

While he was busy blocking me, I used my fear power to disappear from his sight. It was a mistake taking me out of his sight.

When he realized it, I was no longer there.

"Where did he go?"

Not wasting time, I ran back to the base. I would be stupid to fight All Might by myself. Shoto's ice power would be a good distraction for him.

All Might quickly regained his composure and followed after me with incredible speed. His size and the weight didn't seem to affect his movement at all, making him faster than me by a little bit. He would arrive at the starting location faster than me.

'Heh!'

Unfortunately for him, the sound created from his fall earlier was enough to alert Todoroki.

"Ice Wall!"

Suddenly, a huge wall of ice appeared before me, blocking All Might's path and giving me a chance to catch up to Shoto.

Without wasting this chance, I raised my sword and aimed at All Might's neck. One thing I learned from watching all these movies and anime. Don't underestimate a big guy.

"Ugh?!"

He grunted in pain as he raised his hands to block me, but it was too late. I managed to hit his neck with my sword. Still, he wasn't All Might for nothing.

"Found you, Young Saiki!" He roared as he tried to grab me from behind.

I jumped back quickly and stared at him with a smirk on my face. "Sorry, but that's all you can get from me. Todoroki!"

"I got it!"

The boy raised his hand and used his ice power again. This time, he aimed it at All Might's legs, causing him to stay grounded on the ground.

When he took his eyes off me, I immediately entered the state of invisibility again and ran to the location of the suitcase. If only I discovered how to use the second technique, Shin Kyōka Suigetsu, that allowed me to only shift his awareness, I would have a chance to fight him on equal ground.

But even so, I would still get injured. Our physical abilities were too different now. And my weapon was just a normal blunt sword.

'I need to train that soon.' I thought as I ran at full speed.

As we had discussed earlier, Shoto would create ice everywhere, causing All Might to get caught up in his own trap. That would buy me a few seconds to reach the suitcase and grab it.

All we had to do was to survive for 3 minutes.

'Where is the suitcase?'

Based on the city's layout, I guessed it would be inside one of the buildings. But which one?

'Closest or farthest?'

I looked around as I entered the building in front of me. It was dark and empty, with no signs of anyone being inside.

Just as I exited the 2nd building...

BOOM!

A loud explosion rang out behind me. The force of the impact nearly made me lose my balance, but I managed to stay standing.

"What is that?"

I turned to the sky and saw ice flying everywhere. It was as if a fight was happening in the air between Shoto and All Might.

'It's safe to assume Todoroki is out of commission.'

Without Todoroki's help, it was up to me to get the suitcase. The sooner, the better. Only around a minute had passed since the fight. And the countdown wouldn't start before All Might get the suitcase.

'What an unfair rule.' I clicked my tongue.

As I entered the next building, I scanned every corner as fast as I could. For some reason, I felt like the suitcase would be here. Just like what All Might said, villains would try to escape as fast as possible. Which means, the closer to the entrance, the better.

I opened the 1st floor door and looked around. There, a strange suitcase sat in the middle of the room. It was small and shiny, almost like a normal briefcase.

Bingo.

I picked it up and hugged it tightly as I exited the building.

All I had to do was to hide until All Might's power countdown ran out. Easy.

Just as I was about to move away, All Might appeared in front of me. He was still as good as before except for the few ices stuck on his body.

"Hmm?"

He hadn't noticed me yet. With him being like this, I could definitely take him out and win. But there was no need for that.

Still, just running away wasn't my style. Wasn't this the perfect chance to learn my second technique?

My opponent was one of the strongest guys I could hope for. He was also fearless and wouldn't be scared of anything in normal circumstances. This was perfect.

'Thank you for that, All Might.'

I threw the suitcase away and entered a fighting stance. When he saw the thrown suitcase, All Might looked at it with a shocked expression as he swatted it away.

When the suitcase was out of the way, I was already in front of him with my sword swung.

But before I could reach him, his hand moved at a lightning speed. I twisted my body mid-air and aimed for his unguarded body.

"Uh!"

He groaned as my sword hit his arm. I used his body as a step and jumped away from him.

"Got you, All Might." I said as I rested my sword on my shoulder. "Now that you have touched the suitcase, the countdown will start. I just have to keep you busy for 3 minutes."
