47.69% Cult Leader In America / Chapter 62: Chatper 62

บท 62: Chatper 62

It looks like this house has been marked too.

However, the real problems probably won't appear until tonight.

Randy walked forward and touched the clap switch, easily manipulating the current to destroy it. It wasn't destroyed in a permanent sense, just temporarily disabled using his abilities to cut off the electrical flow.

Then he clapped his hands again.

Clap clap.

The lights didn't turn on, but the curse remained and would become more dangerous with each clap.

So the issue was with the equipment, not the light switch itself.

Randy wasn't interested in investigating further and decided to head to the location of the seed. Since curses need to be cast within a certain range, this Michelle had to be somewhere in town. As long as Randy found where the car was parked, he could use his senses to locate him.

After waiting for a while, Randy took his leave, as Beverly didn't try to keep him since she had her own tasks to attend to. Mike was unavailable, so she needed to pick up some old friends.

She did, however, leave a key with Randy.

"I might be back a bit late tonight. If you're hungry, you can order takeout, or I can bring you something to eat when I get back."

Beverly's overconcern made Randy uncomfortable, though he didn't show it. But she was also busy with the curse Randy had attracted to the house.

After leaving Beverly's house, Randy felt a bit uneasy, so he headed over to George's place next, clapping loudly to draw the curse's attention there.

Only then did he set off to find Michelle.

To Randy's surprise, the seed was located in a warehouse on the outskirts of town.

It was quite normal, as many wealthy people in America were involved with cults.

When Randy arrived, the warehouse only had a business car parked outside.

Randy used his senses to scan the surroundings, focusing on the mansions in town.

After a long search with no sign of Michelle, Randy wondered if he should confirm the location by phone.

At that moment, Randy sensed activity with his seed.

"Huh?"

The seed was picked up and thrown on the ground, even stomped on a few times.

Randy quickly returned to the warehouse area. He hadn't gone far, so he was soon back and saw a thin man in a hooded sweatshirt leave the warehouse.

Despite his unremarkable appearance, the man radiated a strong aura of malice, indicating frequent contact with dark forces.

Randy followed him to an old house in the mountains. This must be his hideout.

Randy took out his phone to make a final confirmation call.

The man unlocking the door suddenly stopped, then took out his phone.

"Hello? Hello?"

It was a familiar voice.

Michelle, sensing something, slowly turned around and saw Randy standing on the treetop.

To Randy's surprise, Michelle was indeed a thin black man.

"Who are you?"

Michelle asked, then seemed to recognize him, "Oh, I know now. You're the one who lost a seed on the car. What do you want?"

Randy jumped down from the tree and observed Michelle closely.

His body was that of a frail middle-aged man, nothing special. This was a common trait among American wizards, whose physical bodies were weak but compensated by their magical prowess.

Randy coldly asked, "Are you from the Voodoo cult?"

Black people had their own dark cults, with Voodoo being one of the most notorious, though Randy didn't know its core teachings.

"Pfft."

Michelle showed disdain, "You foolish Asian. I come from the noble Church of Satan."

Randy, showing no mercy, retorted, "The Church of Satan accepts black people? Don't tell me you want to pin the blame on them. I detest those who malign others!"

Although Randy hadn't encountered this world's Church of Satan, his understanding from the previous world was that such cults were focused on Satan worship and acquiring power through sacrifices. They didn't adhere to political correctness and were generally hostile towards black people, much like the KKK.

It was akin to having Cixi join the Taiping Heavenly Kingdom.

"Damn, you're a racist too!"

This remark seemed to break Michelle's composure. He quickly pulled out a gun.

A gun?

Randy was initially shocked, but then realized that a gun was indeed more powerful than many magical techniques.

However, Michelle's movements were too slow, lacking the speed of the police officer from the morning.

Smack!

Randy moved like lightning, slapping Michelle hard enough to knock him to the ground, sending the gun flying far away.

The slap stunned Michelle.

"Who are you?"

"I'm with the KKK."

Michelle felt insulted, quickly rebutting, "Nonsense, the KKK discriminates against non-whites too!"

Randy stepped on Michelle's face.

"You don't need to know anything. Now answer me honestly."

Michelle remained stubbornly silent.

Randy continued, "I didn't kill you earlier because I wanted to extract information. If you keep resisting, I'll have no choice but to kill you."

This made Michelle nervous, and he quickly responded, "I'm truly from the Church of Satan. I've sacrificed my wife and daughter for the cult, and I've been recognized by the leader."

"I'm not interested in your self-introduction."

Randy pressed harder, making it difficult for Michelle to speak.

"Did you spread the curse of the clap lights? What was the purpose?"

After asking the question, Randy relaxed his foot slightly.

Michelle didn't dare lie, "I did it for the sorcerers in the cult! I was just helping them spread the curse. If I've offended you, I apologize! I'll communicate with the sorcerers and move the curse to other towns!"

Although Michelle didn't know Randy's identity, he sensed that Randy was no ordinary person, probably treating this town as a personal hunting ground and looking for trouble due to his intrusion.

As Michelle spoke, Randy carefully observed his expressions. The panic seemed genuine, suggesting that behind him was a real sorcerer—the one who sent Michelle to spread the curse.

Randy continued, "What kind of curse is it? Is it to summon evil spirits or to enhance oneself?"

"I don't know. It's a new curse from the sorcerer. He said I was the most suitable to spread it. I really don't know anything else."

It seemed Michelle was just a minor figure.

"How do you communicate with the sorcerer? Is there a way to contact him?"

"We have no direct contact. The sorcerer said he would come personally once the curse was ready!"

"Ah, then you're useless."

Randy started pressing down harder.

"Wait! I'm useful. The sorcerer taught me a soul summoning technique... cough cough, I can't breathe."

"Oh?"

Randy eased up slightly, "Continue."

"The sorcerer taught me how to summon souls. If you let me go, I'll teach you this technique."

Michelle tried to bargain.

"You're mistaken. I can learn it even if you die."

Randy showed no mercy and made sure Michelle died without suffering.

Originally thought to be just a minor resource, it turned out Michelle could also be a material.

Randy welcomes any capable individuals, no matter how many there are!
