"Yang, are you heading to school? Ready?"
At the entrance of the tribe, familiar faces greeted him.
Uchiha Yang nodded.
"Do us proud, Yang. Don't tarnish the Uchiha name!"
"When you're back, uncle's treating you to barbecue!"
Yang smiled, thinking to himself that if the Uchiha clan treated the rest of Konoha the way they treated their own, perhaps they wouldn't face extinction in the future. Taking a deep breath, he quickened his pace toward the examination site.
Uchiha Yang was not just any ordinary person; he was a time traveler. He hadn't been involved in any accidents, nor had he fallen ill. Back in his previous life, he had been an average person, working a nine-to-five job and living a quiet, single life. One day, he inexplicably found himself transported to the world of *Naruto*.
When he first realized he was part of the tragic Uchiha clan, he was understandably disheartened. But once he discovered he had been born just after the Second Ninja War, decades before the Uchiha clan's annihilation, he felt much more at ease. After all, it was better than those unfortunate souls who are doomed right from the start or those reborn into weaker, insignificant families. Now, he had a loving home.
His father, Uchiha Ieyasu, was the younger brother of Uchiha Nobunaga, the current clan leader, and his own younger brother was Uchiha Fugaku. For someone who'd crossed dimensions and time, this was quite a fortunate start.
Seven years had flown by. Uchiha Yang had spent two full years in the Ninja Academy, maintaining top grades all the while. With his mature mental age, he found it tiresome to keep up the pretense of a child and, more importantly, he was determined to change the fate of the Uchiha in this lifetime.
"Uchiha Yang, your test begins now!"
As soon as the examiner announced the start, Uchiha Yang launched three kunai, flying toward the examiner in a triangular formation. He then followed up with six shuriken, attached to thin wires, speeding toward the examiner.
"Fire Style: Great Fireball Jutsu!"
Yang unleashed a fireball, forcing the examiner into a defensive position. The examiner deftly dodged the kunai, used his own kunai to block the shuriken, and performed an Earth-Style technique to counter the fireball. Secretly, he smirked, thinking this Uchiha kid had underestimated him.
But Uchiha Yang wasn't done. He manipulated the wires, making the shuriken change direction, heading straight for the examiner's back.
With a puff of smoke, the shuriken struck a log – a substitution technique. Suddenly, Yang felt a cold presence at his neck. The examiner appeared beside him, a kunai at his throat.
In response, Yang activated "Earth Style: Head Hunter Jutsu," substituting himself with a clone and ambushing the examiner underground. But the examiner transformed into a withered tree.
"Water Style: Water Prison Jutsu!" The examiner trapped Yang in a sphere of water.
In that instant, Yang executed a combination of Clone Jutsu and Transformation Jutsu. The clone had performed the Earth-style technique, while the real Yang had transformed into a shuriken lying on the ground, attacking the examiner with a fire technique when the moment was right.
"Water Style: Water Wall Jutsu," the examiner countered, but the match was over.
"Uchiha Yang, you pass."
With a swift motion, Jiraiya ended the test. "Thank you, Master Jiraiya," the examiner bowed in gratitude.
"As expected of an Uchiha prodigy!"
"The Uchiha kid is seriously strong."
"Are children this powerful these days?" murmured the amazed onlookers.
"You're strong, Uchiha brat. Report to the Hokage's office tomorrow," Jiraiya instructed before disappearing in a blur.
Yang exhaled in relief. It hadn't been easy. Surrounded by fellow clansmen, he made his way to the guard unit's headquarters.

Later, at home, Yang's father, Uchiha Ieyasu, a proud and talkative Jonin, praised his son.
"You've done well. Never forget that we, the Uchiha, are the strongest clan. You've made us proud!"
"I spoke with your uncle, and we'll have a small celebration tonight in honor of you becoming Konoha's youngest Genin. But remember, don't get cocky. Many of our clan's geniuses can't achieve their potential without awakening the Sharingan. That's the foundation of our power!"
"But Yang, have you given any thought to whether you want to join the police force or the regular mission team?"
Yang hesitated. "I think I should ask Uncle for his advice. It seems like a bigger decision than I thought."
"Bah, don't worry. Whatever path you choose, I'll support you. Now, let's get home before your mother gets anxious."
He ruffled Yang's hair affectionately, guiding him home while bragging about his son's achievements to anyone who would listen. Yang, on the other hand, felt a bit embarrassed, as if people saw him as the reincarnation of Uchiha Madara.
"You're back, Yang! Congratulations on becoming a Genin!"
His mother, a gentle woman, embraced him tightly. "Promise me, Yang. Be careful out there. Don't be soft with enemies. Your kindness can turn against you in battle. Always stay alert."
A red glow briefly flickered in her eyes, her three-tomoe Sharingan looking particularly beautiful in the sunlight.
"Let's not worry about such things now," Ieyasu interjected, trying to lighten the mood.
Yang felt incredibly fortunate to have such a warm family. This home was everything to him, and he silently vowed to protect it, no matter what.

That evening, the rest of the family came over to celebrate, including Yang's serious cousin Uchiha Fugaku and his playful cousin Uchiha Rei. It seemed the duality of being both cool and humorous ran in the Uchiha bloodline.
"Yang, I've spoken with your father about your career path, but I want to hear your thoughts," his uncle asked, gazing at Yang with a serious expression as though reading every minute detail of his movements.
