Gavin and Lucy had been busy together, and with Jenny leaving the guesthouse, I bet even if Lucy had noticed my arrival, she might have thought I left with Jenny.

I was growing impatient, getting angrier with every passing minute. If I had a wolf, I would have jumped out of the window by now.
