The array quickly gave 2 flashes before slowly dimming down. After which Oliver quickly inspected his array.
[Beast summoning Array (Grade 2)]
Piek grade
Effects: Stores and summons up to 1500 beasts, dead beast souls and intact bodies are needed for storage. Only low grade beasts can be stored.
Smiling to himself Oliver quickly turned to his rewards. Before, with the alchemy rewards he wasn't so excited, but now that he knew he would be getting a towers first he couldn't contain himself.
Congratulations. You have become an [Array Crafter].]
[Congratulations. You have made an exceptional achievement.]

Oliver sighed, maybe he had been expecting too much. Deep down he knew that this probably wasn't going to be a towers first, but he really had hoped so. Even so, the next achievement made him forget all about his let down expectations.
Of course Oliver knew this was going to be a towers first achievement. He even knew pretty certainly what kind of rewards he would get, but even so, the excitement was not an ounce less than before. Seeing those shining words 'tower first'.

It was only 5 minutes later that Oliver had remotely calmed down, at least enough for him to quickly take a look at his status screen.

Feeling satisfied with his results, only being a week into the tutorial Oliver asked the bartender for a room in the guild, and slept for a solid 12 hours before he felt refreshed enough to start on his last profession.
Enchanting
Enchanting was the art of using runes to add some kind of effects to objects. It was also rather similar to magic, as mages used runes in combination with magic circles to cast magic. All be it not as similar as Array crafting.
Luckily for Oliver the fact that arrays had an extremely low failure rate if you had a high mastery carried over to enchanting. So Oliver wasn't that worried.
Walking into yet another crafting room, assistant in toe, Oliver started laying down his materials on the baren ground.
Just like the array crafting room the enchanting room didn't have much in it. Only a singular large anvil in the middle with all sort of scraping tools on a table next to it.
After all enchanting in essence was rather similar to array crafting, only the language and surface changes.
Oliver started yet again with his visualization, having already motioned his assistant to leave the room and prepared an iron short sword which was now lying on the anvil in front of him.
It didn't take long, in fact it took an extremely little amount of time due to the fact that he had probably made this enchantment more than anything else of the first grade he had ever made.
This simple enchantment was how Oliver made his money during his early days.
Even if he wanted too, he wouldn't be able to forget how to make it, if it wasn't for the fact that it had been a while he would probably be dreaming of this short sword.
So after only 15 minutes Oliver started making small lines in the sword with a scalpel. These lines were incredibly detailed and precise, yet when Oliver was making them it looked like child's play, like any dumbass could make them.
It took barely 1 hour for everything to be complete, as Oliver started on injecting the cracks with different kinds of liquids and dust.
After about another 15 minutes even this process was done. Oliver didn't even take a single second to breathe as he started pouring mana in the blade.
Just like the magic arrays the blade quickly lid up, and dimmed to basically nothing a second later.
Oliver didn't even bother inspecting it, that was how sick he was of this enchantment.
Grade 1 sharpness, it simply increased its damage and destructive power by 5%, nothing more. But since it was useful and extremely cheap most on hub world 1 and even 2 wanted it.
Not even taking a second to breathe Oliver put away the sword as he took out another item on the anvil, a staff.
Oliver wasn't as familiar with this staff enchantment than with the sharpness enchantment, simply because mages were too rare.
Even though he sold them in his past live, that was barely 1 a week, and that was considering that he was fairly popular on his planet back then.
Even though most mage classes only had access to a singular element, they were still considered superior in both power and versatility to most physical classes.
Which reflected in the fact that the tower gave out far fewer mages classes than physical classes, to keep the balance.
The only thing to consider of course was mana. But with the amount of money a mage could make that could be remedied.
Never the less Oliver started his whole process yet again, visualizing, carving, filling the runes, and finally injecting his mana.
He was less confident on this one than his sharpness enchantment, but that didn't mean he would fail. It just meant that he needed to pay a little attention while crafting this time.
Seeing the staff quickly light up and dim Oliver inspected it, he knew of course what the spell power enchantment did, but since he was going to be using this one for himself he couldn't help it.

[Basic Wooden Staff]
White grade
Description: A below average staff enchanted with the grade 2 spell power enchantment.
Effect: -adds 5 damage to all magical attacks. (staff)
-does 5 physical damage. (staff)
-adds 20% damage to all magical attacks. (enchantment)
'O, it's white grade, so it wasn't that bad of a staff after all.'
Naturally Oliver knew how powerful his grade 2 enchantment was, and with bottom of the barrel staffs it didn't have enough power to upgrade them from common to white.
Oliver had just assumed this staff was bad, as most in the tutorial are, but it seemed that the thieves guild really valued him. He didn't have any achievements in crafting or blacksmithing either so the best he could do was make a good guess.
Staffs already possessed a feature that could make your casting more efficient, or more powerful to begin with, although this one was rather lacking. So Oliver naturally chose to enhance this effect even further, stacking the enchantment to get an even greater outcome.
This might seem like an insignificant bonus of merely 1 magic damage, but it was better for enchanters to get into that habit earlier than later. As in higher hub worlds most specifically ask for such things.
Plus there was the fact that Oliver could cast basically all spells he could ever get in the tutorial instantly, and with minimal cost due to mana potions, so any other effect would be a waste.
Having inspected his new staff Oliver with a little glitter in his eyes quickly looked through his notifications, and what he found was beyond his wildest dreams.

This made Oliver extremely happy, honestly after the gaining 2 professions achievement turned out to be a race first he didn't have much hope for this one. But it seemed that he had worried for nothing.

This achievement might sound weird, especially to those just summoned to the tower, but was completely logical.
Not all races had the same amount of profession slots. As not all races needed the same amount of AP to increase their attributes. This had to do with a races natural talent, or aptitude.
Humans were notoriously low in that aspect, so it wasn't weird to Oliver that he gained another Tower first achievement here.

Oliver nodded happily looking at all the achievements and rewards roll in. He was kind of getting sick of only getting the 100 AP and a small fortune for every tower first achievement, but never the less he was still extremely excited.
When someone achieved a tower first achievement inside the tower not only would they gain an incredible amount of AP, they would also gain some unique prizes.
These prizes however would normally only be rewarded at the end of a floor, mainly to prevent any variables of happening inside of the floor. So Oliver hoped he would gain them as well.
Pushing this thought to the back of his mind for now Oliver opened his status screen, just to see those beautiful numbers.

Seeing his profession slots filled in Oliver felt relieved, like he had been naked before this looking at the three None after his professions.
Disregarding his insane amount of AP, his three very desirable grade 2 professions would make any challenger or organization in both hub world 1 and 2 drool and do anything to recruit him.
But to Oliver, this was merely the start.
Before doing anything though Oliver needed rest. He was after all going to do something incredibly difficult and important after this.
Well, everything in Olivers plan was difficult and important, but this particular step involved spending AP. And as a general rule of thumb in the tower. 'Only spend AP when you are right of mind.'.
It was looked down upon to even spend a single AP if you were only slightly irritated, not to mention Oliver who at this point could fall asleep on the very anvil before him.
So he called in his assistant real quick.
"Take the remaining materials away and sell them for me, the same with that short sword over there. I will be having a meal in the guild, make sure my room is clean before I'm done eating."
The assistant nodded before quickly taking all the items and leaving. Oliver, after more than a week of crafting only left with a staff, and 10 or so rolled up pieces of paper in his back pocked, hidden by his long coat.
