บท 13: The Past, Part 2
After that, I went to the closest city and started living ordinary life. I had to increase my level too, so I always searched for stronger monsters.
There were also times when I almost died.
I mostly lived in the forest. I also came across bandits and other bad peoples, they were mostly after my body. the thing is, I liked encountering them, they gave much more exp than monsters.
4 years after the death of my parents, when I was 13 years old, I heard that hero summoning will happen in a year. I also heard that shield hero is being summoned in our country.
In our country, people will have to join the knights order for a while and prove themselves to join hero's party. Also, no matter how many people join the knights order, only 3 will be selected.

I started thinking for other ways to persuade him, but he started walking past me. I held his hand, for the first time in the conversation, he made eye contact with me. His eyes were filled with rage.
"If you don't want to die, get lost"
I let him go, he started going back. I wanted to stop him, but I don't have the courage to do that.
A killing intent was less than a breeze for me, I won't even budge with that. But the person in question was Shield Hero.
Looks like the Shield Hero doesn't need me. But he, for whom I waited so long, don't need me, I don't think living worth anything now.
Which is why, I decided to end my meaningless life and jumped off a cliff.
I thought it was the end, but I found myself in the forest of shieldfreeden. Somehow, I came back in time.
Now I had to go melromarc. There were still 3 months left. Since demi-human are looking down in the malromarc, I learned illusion magic.

After reaching melromarc, I waited for the shield hero to be summoned. The people who were going to join the heroes were already decided.

He calmed down, so I made my move. But he started bombarding me with questions. I somehow made a fake but realistic story about why I'm here right now.
I tried to assure him, but he just didn't wanted to listen to me.
It is of no use right now.
Maybe I should leave right now. This time I won't try to join his party, but somehow make it seem like he made me join his party.
Since a beautiful girl would be in his party, he just won't be able to control himself. Then when he'll raped me, I'll make him marry me.
