I have to say that writing itself is good but I think you are making the mc a bit too overpowered like his pokemon knowing advanced pokemon moves without even training just after reaching viridian city pokemon centre is too much for me. (his pidgeotto knowing ariel ace and riolu knowing aura sphere) And character intaraction between mc and others with team rocket for the first time is a bit weird as it give feeling that they know them even before meeting them.
