The tension aboard the Ark was palpable as the crew worked to ready the ship for the coming journey. The quiet hum of systems coming online filled the air as Castra and the engineering droids ensured the ship was prepared for whatever awaited them near the Omega Nebula. Ethan stood on the bridge, watching the massive ships emerging from the black moon on the holoprojector. He could feel the weight of the unknown pressing down on him. Every instinct screamed that something far worse than they could imagine was on the horizon.

"Supplies are loaded, Captain," Tazra reported, stepping back onto the bridge, her blasters holstered but always within reach. "We're stocked and ready for a long haul."

"Good," Ethan nodded, his eyes still on the projection. "The Senate may drag its feet on this, but we can't wait. We need to see this black moon and these ships for ourselves."
