I personally love this novel so far (I've read up to 200 chapters) Characters are fun, romance is very cute with lots of lovable interactions. I'm not good at reviews so I'll just say that among novels of this type this is probably top 3 not only in writing but in everything else surrounding it. But as said that's my judgement of 200 chapters so take it with a pinch of salt. I wanna support this translation so here I am o/
i was surprised by how much I liked this novel. it's a sweet slow romance that can't help but draw you in. Definitely worth reading.
Im not into the way the MC is flirting with his heroine. The author likes to think its flirting but it felt more like insulting and bullying to me. The mc picks on the heroine too much. For adults it might not seem much and could seem flirting but to younger people, it will feel like bullying. And the heroine is also acting like she is at least 5 years younger than her actual age. Its like the the characters were originaly meant to be younger, like maybe 11 or 12 but author deliberately labeled the age older yet did not adjust their mentallity in the dialgoues
As I said before, I like this novel because of its emphasis on the story which is centered on a healthy and drama-free romance, a smart and shameless but not evil Chinese MC and empire building which I believe will be based on the technology of the future (our present). The female MC is one of my favorites, from the first time the male MC saw her and kissed her, I knew I would like her a lot because of the non-cliché way she reacted with a weak scream, but instead used her black belt in Judo to throw the MC into the duel and then wiped her lips with a disgusted but not cold look and instead had a cute way that I liked a lot. In short, I give it 5 stars and I invite you to at least watch 2 chapters, in those 2 chapters you practically get hooked or you leave since it has almost all the themes that will be developed in the story.😎❤️🕷
