บท 124: First Date

Elara checked her reflection one last time in the mirror, giving herself a reassuring nod. Her heart thudded in her chest as she thought about their first official date. Sure, they'd spent plenty of time together at the hospital and in Amara's mansion, but this was different. This was out in public, and for once, they were going to pretend to be a normal couple instead of, well, the heiress of Lyselle Media and her co-star.

"Is this… too much?" she asked Amara, who was lounging on the bed with a smirk, looking far too relaxed for someone planning to sneak out of her own house.

Amara raised an eyebrow, letting her eyes rake over Elara's outfit a soft, casual look with just a hint of glam. "You look like you're going undercover as an adorable fangirl, which, to be fair, is probably what we need. So, no, it's perfect."

Elara chuckled, rolling her eyes. "You could at least pretend to be nervous."
