Natalie's eyes flew open as a chilly breeze swept through the air, sending a shiver down her spine. Groggily, she looked down at herself and saw that she was wrapped in a thick coat. The familiar scent of the cologne wafted up, and her heart skipped a beat as she recognized it as Raymond's.
She sat up abruptly, her gaze darting wildly around her surroundings. She was in a car? How did she get there? Where was Raymond? And what was she doing parked in front of the sea? The questions swirled in her mind, leaving her feeling disoriented and confused.
Her mind immediately went on a flashback:
"Then let's start over," Raymond had said, his eyes sparkling with hope.
"Let's be friends for a week, a month... get to know me better. And if, after that, you still don't feel anything for me, I'll let you go. I promise."
