I turned my head to look at Olivia. “Livie, you stay here for a while first while I talk to him.”

She looked reluctant to let me be alone with Hayden, but in the end, she nodded, agreeing with what I asked her to do.

Hayden led me to a quieter area not far from where Livie was standing.

“What do you want to talk about?” I asked with impatience.

Instead of answering my question, he released my wrist and reached into his trouser’s pocket. I rubbed my wrist slowly, annoyed that he had gripped me so tightly until it reddened.

He was holding a small box when his hand went out of his pocket. At one glance, I could tell it was a piece of jewelry. That unique peach design box... It could be none other than jewelry by the Peach Blossom Jewelry.

He offered it to me, but I refused to take it.

He seemed to have anticipated my rejection, so he let out a helpless sigh before opening the box.

Inside was a slim bracelet made from the finest jadeite I had ever seen.
