บท 46: Still Chasing After Him

Landon stepped off the plane, the familiar buzz of the airport filling his ears. Despite the suggestion of the airport staff to take his suitcase and bring him to where his ride was, Landon dragged his suitcase with him and walked away.

He was not in the mood for anything. Right now, he just wanted to go back to his office and begin his work so he could finish early. Though there was no way he could complete his duties as quickly as he wanted, Landon still wanted to take the chance to get more time to himself and continue the investigation of Lucy's life when she left him.

He was looking forward to a quiet moment to collect his thoughts, but that hope vanished into thin air the instant a woman walked into his line of sight, blocking his way.

"Landon, what a coincidence!" Yvonne's sweet voice rang in his ears. "Who would have thought we would meet here?"

Landon froze, his heart sinking, as he didn't expect to meet Yvonne now.
