"What?"

Asher hadn't noticed this yet.

"It's your half-brother. He is waiting for you there."

Asher then realized. He drove the car like nothing happened. As soon as he stepped out, Cole approached him.

Rose debated whether she should come out or stay in.

It seemed like some family stuff but was she supposed to go out and act like a bodyguard?

This was a dilemma.

The night covered them. The streetlights provided enough light for her to see Cole's stiff expression. If he wasn't present, maybe she could have enjoyed the calm breeze.

"What did you tell Dad?"

Cole asked Asher.

Asher didn't do anything. He leaned back on the car and didn't answer. Cole was really angry, from the tone of his voice.

"You asked my father to divorce my mother?"

Now that's news. Rose couldn't believe that that guy, Henry could do this. Shocking!
