She couldn't wait for his answer, and Chu Baihan didn't know what was on his mind; she was too tired to guess anymore.

These past few days had exhausted her, and she started to doze off as she leaned against the carriage.

She didn't wake up, just felt his shoulder was uncomfortable, so she unconsciously rested her head against his chest and half of her body snuggled into his embrace, then continued to sleep soundly.

Feeling the softness in his arms, Yan Lin's breathing changed subtly, his thin lips pressed even tighter together.

He loathed women, so what he should have done was to thrust her away, but when he went by his instinct to lift his hand, it froze mid-air.

Let it be, she had spent quite some effort these past two days to administer his antidote, she just wanted to sleep now, so he would let this pass just this once.
