Khaos replied through mindlink. He watched the shock on Zuri's face, indicating that she heard it.

"I have a lot of voices screaming in my head. I don't need you too," Zuri growled at him.

However, Khaos could feel her fascination behind her anger. They were tied together now and the mate bond would only grow stronger, which only complicated their feeling and the aftermath of it.

Yet, Khaos quite enjoyed this complication in his plan. Certainly, something had to change.

"I am not screaming at you." Khaos pointed it out. He moved closer to Zuri and was glad to see the anger in her eyes, because it was way better than the desperation and devastation look on her when he found her that day.

He would take her anger anytime.
