บท 53: you do things to me no one else has.

Ash was unsure how to respond to Violet's hug. He stiffened expecting Violet to run away or scream at him, he didn't even realize he was holding his breath but once he relaxed, a deep breath was escaped, lifting a heaviness from him that he was unaware he had.

After standing still for a few moments he hugged Violet back. Picking her up and holding her clothes to him. Pushing his face into the curve of her neck, and breathing in the euphoria that is her.

He was drowning in her scent. His need for her was growing. How could she still want to touch him after watching that? He was a Demon and she was practically an angel. He felt undeserving of this forgiveness.

"It's okay," she whispers "I still love you."

The words made Ash freeze. He's heard her say those words before, but this time it felt like reassurance, despite all his bad qualities he was still worth loving.
