I chuckled at his assertion. It is just two days to a month, so it doesn't matter. I HAD HER MOTHER ON HER KNEES IN MY OFFICE TODAY, SO I THINK THAT SHOULD BE ENOUGH TO ATONE FOR HER SINS, SHE PROMISED THEM THAT I WOULD LET HER GO TODAY AFTER WORK. YOU SAID YOU WANTED TO BE THE ONE TO RELEASE HER, SO GO DO YOUR THING.

SURE. DON'T FORGET TO BRIEF ME ON HOW YOUR MEETING WITH LIAM WENT. BE SAFE.

I grinned like a fool as I typed out my response. YOU TOO. Slipping my phone back into my pocket, I focused on Kai. "How did you get to know Miles?"
