To think that I received a call from Renee's secretary letting me know that she was willing to dine with me filled me with excitement, more than anyone could possibly imagine. My heart raced at the prospect of sharing a meal with her. 

I had been invested in her from the very beginning, captivated by her spirit and charm, but my interest had only intensified now that my brother Liam had shown a keen interest in her as well.
