ZINA

They say the truth is a healing balms that heals all, but the truth had never seemed so terrifying as it did that moment.

"Because you will leave me one day, and I fear I won't survive it!"

Many things happened at the same time. The storm in Daemon's eyes morphed into amusement, while Zina's wolf who would have quipped with something sarcastic instead, reached out to console her.

While the motion wasn't visible, it felt as though her wolf was patting her on the back.

'You've had it hard." She said, and those words were enough to bring tears to Zina's eyes. She would have cried right then and there if not for the fact that something seemed to amuse Daemon.

The corners of lips were curved into a half smile that seemed to want to explode into a full blown laughter, and his eyes shined as if he had just won something.
