ZINA
Zina had always had one problem with Daemon, and that was the fact that the man didn't talk. At first, that fact wasn't exactly noticeable, but in the sparse intimate interaction that Zina had with him, she had realised that he had never spoken from his heart.
Instead, his words had always been a double pointed dagger, delivering words of intimate calculation and expert manipulation.
So Zina, of course, couldn't believe the words that Daemon had delivered with a coldness that made him sound like a jealous man. And before she knew it, she had resorted to physical violence as she shoved the man with all her strength.
Daemon really did bring out the worst in her… and she had a feeling the sentiment was mutual if the fire that flared in his eyes was anything to go by.
Of course, Zina might as well have been shoving a mountain, but that didn't stop her from raining down blows on his chest as her frustration refused to be doused.
