anya's POV 

We were out of breath, our chests rising and falling due to exhaustion. However, we were aware that we couldn't relax just yet. We needed to ensure the creature was completely vanquished, and its sorcery wouldn't return to trouble us.

Zara started reciting a different spell, aiming to restrict the creature's magic and stop it from inflicting further damage. Ryker and I kept watch, scanning the nearby area for any potential threats.

After completing her enchantment, Zara observed the creature's body starting to emit a radiant light, which then blended with the ground's magic. We were aware that we had emerged victorious, and that the safety of the forest had been restored.

We transformed back into our human shapes, feeling exhausted but filled with positivity. We had battled side by side and come out as winners. And as we moved further from the dead creature, we realized that our connection had never been stronger.
