NICO'S POV 

Alexander had driven us to the airport, and throughout the ride, Aris hadn't stopped smiling. I guessed the effects of my previous comment were still visible on her. We settled down in the airplane, and as the plane took off, the excitement in her eyes was undeniable. It made me wonder why she had left Las Vegas in the first place if coming back would make her this happy.

No matter how hard I thought about it I still can't believe that those words of mine make her this happy, she was really jealous of her own daughter? For real?

She hummed a beautiful melody as she soothed Anabella to sleep. I watched her closely, lost in her mesmerizing beauty, and felt a pang of guilt heavy on my chest. I would have lost her forever if I hadn't found her. I wouldn't have gotten the chance to see her beautiful face again. I wouldn't have met my precious baby if I hadn't found Aris and brought her back.
