บท 94: Completion of the Russian Base
"Boss, are you okay?"
Luna ignored the blood-soaked Adam and quickly walked over to check on him.
Fortunately, there were no visible wounds.
Seeing Luna's concern, Adam smiled faintly. "Don't worry, I'm fine. Just a test subject running amok."
"That same woman again?"
At this moment, Felia stepped out of the elevator.
Dressed in her usual white lab coat and high heels, her glasses lent her a scholarly air that made her seem more composed than Luna's sultry charm.
"Yes, that fierce woman. Completely uncontrollable. Even our guards were no match for her. In the end, the boss had to step in and rip her in two. That's how he got covered in blood."
Luna frowned slightly. "Wasn't Rogue(Anna Marie) supposed to absorb her energy? Did she slack off?"
Felia shook her head helplessly. "That little one is too soft-hearted. She let her go after hearing her say a few words."
"What do we do now? Won't she resurrect again soon?"
Felia's lips curled into a mischievous smile. "Relax, Rogue probably despises her now. During her rampage, the first thing she did was nearly kill Rogue. Luckily, the boss intervened in time. Even so, it cost Rogue half her life."
As the two women chatted, Adam opened the door to the office bathroom, revealing a large bathtub.
Don't ask why there's a bathtub in the office. Sometimes, after a long day of work, isn't it necessary to relax with a soak?
While he was bathing, Luna and Felia entered the bathroom together.
"Boss, let me massage your shoulders to help you relax."
"Boss, we're running low on Apocalypse genes. Should we clone another one?"

In Russia, about thirty kilometers east of Boli City, nestled in the mountains, Umbrella Chemical Industry Base was officially completed.
Adam, accompanied by Luna and a group of researchers and staff, arrived at the base for an inspection.
"I can't believe it's completed in just one year. Arzak, you've outdone even me."
Arzak, a man in his fifties with graying hair and a slight belly, stood about 1.75 meters tall. He was an Umbrella manager in charge of constructing the Boli City base.
Hearing the boss's praise, he quickly responded with humility, "It's all thanks to Miss Luna. Without her handling the local gangs and workers at the construction site, we couldn't have finished so quickly."
Luna, wearing a white jacket paired with black stockings and high heels, looked stunning as always. "I only took care of the preliminary issues. The rest was all your effort."
The group toured the factory equipment, underground laboratories, and other facilities.
Since cloning research was part of the plan, the base included an underground structure with thirty levels. At the lowest level, Adam intended to install a new supercomputer.
After the inspection, Adam returned to his office to review the base's overall data.
Just then, a holographic projection of the Red Queen appeared.
"Master, there was an accident during Felia's replacement of Raven's P-30 mental suppressant. Raven has escaped the base."
"Oh? Show me the footage."
Soon, a 3D projection materialized, showing a pristine white laboratory where a blue-skinned Raven sat expressionlessly in a chair.
The door opened, and Felia entered with a tray. Setting it aside, she picked up a scalpel and made an incision on Raven's back, revealing a red device inside—a mental control implant developed exclusively by Umbrella.
Unlike the original spider-shaped external device, which was easy to spot and remove, Adam had modified it to be implanted internally, requiring only periodic P-30 suppressant injections.
As Felia prepared to inject the P-30, Raven suddenly elbowed her unconscious, took her ID card, and transformed into Felia's appearance, striding out of the base without suspicion.
"Is it due to prolonged P-30 use that Raven developed resistance? Red Queen, deploy the Alpha Team to recover the company's valuable asset."
"Yes, Master."
Adam didn't dwell much on Raven's escape. For him, the Russian base was the current priority.

In the United States, Manhattan District, Hell's Kitchen~
Raven, now transformed into a stunning woman, roamed the streets like a nightingale, winking and whistling at passing men.
"Hey, gorgeous. How much for a night?"
"Three hundred for one round, five hundred for the whole night."
A burly black man leered at her, then grinned wolfishly. "Deal. Let's head to that alley."
In the alley, as he eagerly approached her, he suddenly felt a sharp pain and blacked out.
Raven rolled her eyes in disdain and searched the man's wallet, only to find thirty dollars.
"Ugh… another one trying to freeload."
She pocketed the cash, discarded the wallet, and left the alley.
Moments later, a fully armed Alpha Team arrived.
The team leader examined the unconscious man. "Severe injury to the groin. She can't be far. Move out."
"Yes, sir."
As they prepared to leave, another black man appeared at the alley entrance.
"Hey, what did you do to my buddy?"
Realizing they were outmatched, the man tried to flee but was swiftly caught and silenced.

Minutes later, a blind man with a cane passed by. His sharp senses picked up the scent of blood from the alley.
"What happened here?"
Unperturbed, he cautiously entered and discovered the bodies.
