บท 116: The Reinforcement Is Here!

Thankfully, after my mind was overwhelmed by many things in this maddening realm, my access to Sir Aethernet had always remained firm and true the whole time. 

So amidst me trying to fight against the sea itself, I had some epic metal music in the background as a self-buff for my Sanity and overall health.

"Through the night and the rain~!!" I sang as I my flesh as rend asunder by countless swimming ghouls with pikes laced with rots and plagues. "For the fire and the fame~!!"

More than 5 hours had passed since the start of the Ordeal of the Midnight.

And there was no sign of improvement from Kuzunoha's side.

The spell of buoyancy on my feet had become thinner, to the point of me making a comically wide raft made out of the corpse of the sailors and reaped tentacles.

No matter how high the tide and intimidating sound of the crashing waves were, my trusty raft always ended up coming to the surface, and I was very proud of it.
