Chapter 21: The Buzz On Misty

(On a bright sunny day, Mew and her friends are still sailing over the ocean blue on Lapras.)

(The day seems very relaxing.)

(Misty is playing with Togepi.)

(Tracey is looking around with his binoculars.)

(Mew along with Pikachu and Eevee are relaxing.)

(Tomo, Meloetta, and Skwovet are looking at Mew's Pokedex, which Mew allows him to use.)

(The sea is calm, the sun is shiny.)

(the cool breeze blows at them and the day feels great.)

(Suddenly, they begin to hear the sound of thunder, and lightning.)

(The group stops their relaxation to see dark storm clouds rolling with thunder and lightning in it.)

(Piakchu and Pichu soon have electric sparks coming from their cheeks.)

Tracey: "It looks like there's a storm."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "And a really big one."

(Mew says.)

Misty: "I don't like the look of that storm."

(Misty says.)

(She then puts Togepi and Pichu into their backpacks.)

Misty: "You both better stay inside."

(Togepi and Pichu agree and hide in their backpack.)

(Mew opens her bag as well.)

Mew: "You two better get inside too."

(Pikachu and Eevee hurry inside the backpack.)

(Meloetta and Skwovet quickly hide inside Tomo's backpack as well.)

(and Tomo quickly closes it for them to be safe.)

(Mew says to the others.)

Mew: "Hang on, everybody"

(It doesn't take long for Lapras to end up swimming into the storm.)

(Mew and her friends hold on to Lapras as the waves become very rough.)

(The sky becomes dark and thunder and lightning flash in the sky.)

(The waves become very rough and grow bigger.)

(Lapras struggles and continues to swim across the rough sea in order to find land.)

(but the waves are too much for him.)

(Just then, the group begins to panic to see a giant wave in front of them.)

(The group scream in fright and the waves crash down on them.)

(Moments later, Lapras rises up, and Tracey and Mew cough out the water from their mouths.)

Tracey: "The storm is getting too much!"

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "We need to get out of the storm before…"

(Mew says.)

(But hears Misty crying out.)

Misty: "Help!"

(Mew and Tracey turn their heads and become shocked to see Tomo and Misty are gone.)

Mew: "Misty! Tomo!"

(Mew exclaims in shock.)

Tracey: "They're gone!"

(Tracey says, shocked.)

(Just then, they hear Tomo call out.)

Tomo: "Help! Mew!"

(Mew and Tracye turn their heads to see Misty and Tomo are being pushed back by the waves.)

Mew: "Tomo!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Misty!"

(With that, the waves push them back and away from Misty.)

Tracey: "There's no way we can reach them with the storm!"

(Tracey calls out.)

Mew: "Yeah. I don't think Lapras can hold up any longer!"

(Mew says.)

(All Mew, Tracey, and Lapras can do is try to swim their way across the sea.)

(Meanwhile, Misty and Tomo struggle to stay on the surface.)

(Misty quickly brings out her Pokeball and calls out, Goldeen and Staryu to help keep themselves a float.)

(Misty hangs on to Staryu while Tomo is hanging on to Goldeen.)

(Misty asks.)

Misty: "Are you okay, Tomo?"

Tomo: "I'm okay, but what about Mew and Tracey?"

(Tomo asks, coughing out water.)

Misty: "We can't get to them with the storm. It will be too much for Staryu and Goldeen."

(Misty says.)

(Just then, the waves continue to push them back and farther away from Mew.)

(Tomo, and Misty who are being pushed back in the opposite direction.)

(Time has gone by, and the storm has come to an end.)

(Misty and Tomo are now lying on the island unconscious on the beach of an island.)

(as Staryu and Goldeen are next to Misty with exhaustion.)

(Soon enough, Misty eyes begin to squint and move, and begin to regain consciousness.)

(Misty begins to sit up and coughs a bit.)

Misty: "Wha-what happened?"

(Tomo begins to regain consciousness as well.)

(Then coughs out some of the sand and water from his mouth.)

Tomo: "Blech! Yuck!"

(Tomo reacts as he spits sand from his mouth and sticks his tongue out.)

Misty: "Are you okay, Tomo?"

(Misty asks, concerned.)

Tomo: "I'm okay,"

(Tomo answers.)

(Misty then opens her backpack.)

Misty: "Togepi, Pichu, are you both okay?"

(Pichu and Togepi stick their heads out of the backpack and answer.)

Pichu and Togepi: "Toge prriii/ Pichu," (We're okay.)

(Tomo opens his backpack.)

Tomo: "Meloetta. Skwovet. You both alright?"

(Meloetta comes out answer.)

Meloetta: "Meloett," (I'm okay.)

(Skwovet comes out of the backpack, but looks a bit sick and rubs his tummy.)

Skwovet: "Skwov Skwovet," (I think I got seasick.)

Tomo: "Poor Skwovet,"

(Tomo replies.)

"What's wrong?" Misty asks.

Tomo: "Skwovet's a little queasy."

(Tomo answers.)

(Misty looks at Skwovet and says.)

Misty: "Poor thing, it must have gotten sick from the storm."

(Skwovet slowly nods his head in reply.)

Misty: "Don't worry Skwovet, I might have something of your stomach ache,"

(Misty says, and reaches in her bag.)

Misty: "I know those motion sickness pills are around… aha!"

(Misty then takes out a small pill.)

(Then bring out a small jar of mashed berries.)

(Misty gives Skwovet the pill.)

Misty: "Her you go, something for your tummy."

(Skwovet takes the pill and swallows it in his mouth.)

Misty: "And here's some mashed berries Mew made. Made with Oran Berries, Sitrus Berries, and some Leppa berries."

(Misty says, and opens the jar.)

(She then takes a small spoon full and feeds it to Skwovet.)

(Skwovet eats a little bite and is starting to feel better.)

Misty: "Now just get some rest and I'm sure you'll feel better."

(Misty says.)

(Skwovet nods his head and climbs back into Tomo's backpack to get some sleep.)

(Misty looks around.)

Misty: "Still, I wonder which island we ended up on."

Tomo: "Yeah. It looks like we landed on a rather large island. I wonder how far we are from the others."

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "I don't know, but we have to find then."

(Misty says.)

(She then brings out her Pokeball and calls out.)

Misty: "Come on, Staryu!"

(Misty throws her Pokeball, but Staryu isn't coming out.)

Misty: "Huh?"

(Misty says, confused.)

Misty: "Why can't Staryu come out?"

Tomo: "Maybe try your other Pokemon?"

(Tomo asks.)

Misty: "Alright,"

(Misty says, and brings out another Pokeball.)

(Then throws it.)

Misty: "Go Tentacruel!"

(But Tentacruel isn't coming out of his Pokeball either.)

Misty: "My Pokemon aren't coming out?!"

(Misty says, shocked.)

(Tomo brings out his Pokeball.)

Tomo: "Let me try."

Tomo: "Go Delibird!"

(Tomo then throws his Pokeball.)

(But Delibird isn't coming out of his Pokeball either.)

Tomo: "That's weird. My Pokeball isn't working either."

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "I guess the best we can do is stay here until Mew and Tracey find us."

(Misty says.)

(Then turns to see a large jungle area on the island.)

Misty: "I wonder what island we landed on."

(Just then, Misty screams in surprise and quickly ducks her head as a large Beedrill flies past her.)

(Misty and Tomo turn their heads to see it flying into the sky.)

Misty: "Tha-that's a pretty big Beedrill."

(Misty says, still startled by the sudden encounter.)

Tomo: "Yeah. It's practically twice as big as a normal Beedrill."

(Tomo says.)

(Then turns to Misty.)

Tomo: "You okay?"

Misty: "I'm okay, a little startled."

(Misty says, and stands up on her feet.)

(Then, Tomo and Misty see a large flock of Beautifly and Butterfree flying in different directions.)

(Then they look in the jungle to see Caterpie, Weedle, Wurmple, and other kinds of Bug Pokemon.)

Tomo: "Wow. This place is full of Bug Type Pokemon."

(Tomo says, surprised.)

Misty: "Yeah. and some are either really big or smaller than their normal size.

(Then Misty has an idea.)

Misty: "I wonder."

(Misty then brings out two of her Pokeball and calls out.)

Misty: "Surskit! Combee! I choose you!"

(Misty throws her Pokeball and Surskit and Combee come out of the Pokeball with ease.)

(Tomo becomes surprised.)

Tomo: "Woah! Surskit and Combee are able to come out of their Pokeballs!"

(Then turns to Misty and asks.)

Tomo: "What happened?"

Misty: "It's possible that the island is a Bug Pokemon habitat, possibly that other Pokemon aren't allowed and we're not allowed to catch them. But it seems we're able to let out our Bug Pokemon."

(Misty explains.)

Tomo: "Make sense. I'll call out mine."

(Tomo says and brings out his Pokeball.)

(He then throws his Pokeball.)

Tomo: "Larvesta! Snom! Caterpie! I choose you!"

(And with that, Larvesta, Snom, and Caterpie come out of their Pokeballs.)

Tomo: "Hey guys!"

(Tomo happily calls out.)

(The three Pokemon happily say hello.)

(Misty turns to Surskit and Combee.)

Misty: "Hello you two. It's good to see you."

(Surskit and Combee happily reply.)

Tomo: "So what do we do now?"

(Tomo asks.)

Misty: "The best we can do is wait on the island until Mew and Tracey can find us."

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Okay,"

(Tomo says.)

(Then Misty turns to her Pokemon.)

Misty: "Alright guys, let's go see if we can find…."

(Misty panics to notice Pichu is feeling drained.)

Misty: "Pichu! Are you alright?!"

(Misty panics and picks up Pichu.)

(Then notices a Pokemon on Pichu's back.)

(The Pokemon is very small. It has four legs tipped with blue, conical feet.)

(Its ovoid body is completely covered in yellow fur, with notable tufts sticking out on each side of its face, just over each eye, and its lower back.)

(Joltik has four blue eyes.)

(The two larger eyes are set relatively far apart on its face, containing black pupils.)

(The two smaller simple eyes are situated between the first pair, slightly higher up on its face.)

Tomo: "Is that a Pokemon?"

(Tomo asks.)

(Then the Pokemon hops off of Pichu and looks at the group with a curious expression.)

(Misty looks at Pichu and rocks it.)

Misty: "Poor Pichu, you look drained."

Tomo: "Did that Pokemon do that?"

(Tomo wonders.)

(He then brings out Mew's Pokedex and points it towards the Pokemon.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Joltik, the Attaching Pokemon. A Bug and Electric Type. They attach themselves to large-bodied Pokémon and absorb static electricity, which they store in an electric pouch."

Misty: "So that's what happened."

(Misty says.)

(Tomo turns to Joltik and says.)

Tomo: "Joltik, don't suck Pichu's energy."

(Joltik lowers its head and feels sorry.)

Joltik: "Joltik. (Sorry.)

(Tomo turns to Misty.)

Tomo: "Joltik says he's sorry."

Misty: "Well, I suppose it's okay. You're just doing what you do."

(Misty says.)

(Then gives Pichu an Oran Berry.)

Misty: "Here you go, Pichu. this should help."

(Pichu eats the Oran Berry and begins to feel a lot better.)

(Tomo turns to Misty and asks.)

Tomo: "Hey Misty, do you think anyone lives here?"

Misty: "Possible. It's best we explore the island to see if anyone lives here. Maybe they can help us."

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "Okay,"

(Tomo says.)

(The two then begin to head off to explore the island.)

(to search for any human locals on the island, if there are some.)

(Meanwhile, after the storm.)

(Mew and Tracey are riding on Lapras to find Misty and Tomo.)

Mew: "Misty!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Then Tracey calls out.)

Tracey: "Tomo!"

Pikachu: "Pika pi!" (Misty!)

(Pikachu calls out.)

(Eevee calls out.)

Eevee: "Eevee! (Tomo!)

Tracey: "Where are you?!"

(Tracey calls out.)

Mew: "Can you hear us?!"

(Mew calls out.)

(Then turns to Tracey.)

Mew: "I'm worried. We've been searching for hours."

(Then let out a yawn.)

Tracey: "I know, but we can't give up."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "You're right. We gotta keep searching."

(Mew says.)

(Just then, Eevee sees something and calls out.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee!" (Hey, look over there!)

Mew: "What is it, Eevee?"

(Mew asks.)

Eevee: "Eevee Eev Eevee!" (There's an island over there!)

(Eevee calls out.)

(The others look to see a large jungle-like island on their left.)

(Tracey says.)

Tracey: "That's Mushi Island."

Mew: "Mushi Island?"

(Mew says, confused.)

Tracey: "It's an island where all kinds of Bug Pokemon live there. And there is a small town where everyone specializes in Bug Type Pokemon."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Maybe Misty and Tomo end up on the island."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "It's possible. We should go check it out."

(Tracey ays.)

Mew: "Alright,"

(Mew says.)

(Then turns to Lapras.)

Mew: "Lapras, take us to Mushi Island."

(Lapras squeals and answers.)

Lapras: "Here we go to Mushi Island."

(A few moments later.)

(Mew, Tracey, and the Pokemon arrive on Mushi Island, and walk on the beach.)

(Then Mew calls back Lapras.)

Mew: "Get some rest Lapras."

(Lapras is called back to his Pokeball so he can get some rest.)

Mew: "Let's go see if Tomo and Misty are here."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "I hope we find them."

(Tracey says.)

(Suddenly, Mew feels her bag moving.)

(She opens the bag and looks inside to notice one of her Pokemon Eggs is glowing.)

Mew: "One of my Pokemon Eggs is glowing."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "It's going to hatch soon."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Yeah. But for now, let's go find Misty and Tomo."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "Right,"

(Tracey replies.)

(The group soon begins to walk around the island.)

(and soon find a small town and it's full of people, and each of them have different Bug Type Pokemon.)

Mew: "Wow. the people here really have Bug Pokemon."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "Yeah. There are so many different Bug Pokemon from different parts of the world."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Sounds cool,"

(Mew says.)

(Pikachu and Eevee look around to see the many different Bug Pokemon.)

???: "Hello,"

(Someone calls out.)

(Mew, Tracey, and the others look to see a young girl, probably around the same age as Brock.)

(The girl has rose pink hair in a short ponytail, fair skin, and green leaf color eyes.)

(She is wearing a light yellow blouse shirt with light blue shorts, and brown sandals.)

(She is also wearing Beautifly earrings, and a rose hair clip.)

Mew: "Hi,"

(Mew says.)

(The girl walks over and asks.)

???: "Are you both new on the island? I've never seen you before."

Mew: "You could say that. I'm Mew. And these are my friends, Pikachu and Eevee,"

(Mew says.)

(Then Tracey says.)

Tracey: "And I'm Tracey."

Rose: "My name is Rose."

(The young woman says.)

(Then asks.)

Rose: "So what brings you here?"

Tracey: "We're trying to find our friends. We got caught in a storm and our friends got separated from us."

(Tracey explains.)

Rose: "Oh dear,"

(Rose says.)

Mew: "We decided to search on the island to see if you can find them. You haven't seen a red headed girl with a Togepi and a Pichu, and a small boy with spiky blue hair with a Skwovet and Meloetta?"

(Mew explains.)

Rose: "No. I haven't seen them in the village, but maybe they end up on the island side of the island and in the jungle."

(Rose says.)

Mew: "Can you show us?"

(Mew asks.)

Rose: "I can do better. I can come with you. I have known about this island for some time, so I know a lot of Bug Pokemon living there."

(Rose says.)

Tracey: "Thanks Rose, we can really use the help."

(Tracey says.)

(Meanwhile, Misty and Tomo are searching around for anyone living on the island.)

(They mostly find a lot of Bug Pokemon of different shapes and sizes.)

Tomo: "Wow. There are so many different Bug Pokemon."

(Tomo says.)

Misty: "Yeah, but I never expected the Bug Pokemon getting attached to me."

(Misty says.)

(She turns her head to see five Bug Pokemon following her beside Combee and Surskit.)

Tomo: "Yeah. They seem to really like you, Misty."

(Tomo says.)

(Misty turns to see them.)

Misty: "I suppose so. Some of them look very sweet."

(Then all the Bug Pokemon gather around Misty and hug her with glee.)

(Misty giggles.)

Misty: "Alright everyone, settle down."

(Then, all the Pokemon stop and stand close to Misty.)

(Misty then wonders.)

Misty: "I wonder what kind of Pokemon they are."

Tomo: "Let's see,"

(Tomo says, bringing out Mew's Pokedex.)

(Tomo then points to the first Pokemon.)

(It's a small, plantlike Pokémon.)

(It has large, dark pink eyes with slightly darker pupils.)

(Bunches of light green leaves surround its head, and a particularly large tuft in front slightly overhangs its face.)

(A small, dark green bulb sprouts from the center of its head, which emits a pleasant aroma.)

(Around its neck is a collar of short, dark green leaves.)

(Extending from its collar are four lighter green leaves with white tips: two in the front and two in the back.)

(In the front, these leaves act as scythe-like arms.)

(Its main body is pale pink with a thick, dark pink stripe down the front and back. It has a stubby tail and two short legs.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Fomantis, the Sickle Grass Pokemon. A Grass Type. During the day, it sleeps and soaks up light. When night falls, it walks around looking for a safer place to sleep."

(Tomo then turns to the second Pokemon.)

(It resembles a spider with a water bubble over its head.)

(Its head and most of its abdomen are dark gray, while its thorax and six legs are light green.)

(All of its legs are thin with a knobby joint in the middle, and three of its legs are typically used to anchor the bubble on its head.)

(The green on its thorax extends onto its abdomen in three triangular markings.)

(There are also several triangular flaps that extend upward and attach to the bubble over its head.)

(The head itself has large light blue eyes with darker pupils and sclerae, two blue bumps on top, and a light green mouth similar to a spinneret.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Dewpider, the Water Bubble Pokemon. A Water and Bug Type. Dewpider normally lives underwater. When it comes onto land in search of food, it takes water with it in the form of a bubble on its head."

(Tomo then points the Pokedex to the next Pokemon.)

(It's an insectoid Pokémon with a long, flat body.)

(Its thorax and head are mainly red-orange with dark brown sections across its body and yellow rings on its underside which can get very hot.)

(Two fiery whiskers protrude from its face, and it uses its short stubby legs to move around.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Sizzlipede, the Radiator Pokemon. A Fire and Bug Type. It wraps prey up with its heated body, cooking them in its coils. Once they're well-done, it will voraciously nibble them down to the last morsel."

(Then turn to the two flying Pokemon.)

(The first one is a firefly-like, bipedal Pokémon.)

(Its body is black with a blue chest and abdomen.)

(There are two yellow stripes across its front: one on its chest and one near its legs.)

(A red band separates each limb from its body and a thicker, incomplete one surrounds its shoulders.)

(Two simple wings extend from the band around its shoulder.)

(It has a blue face with yellow eyes, and curly, yellow antennae with black stripes. It also has a spherical yellow tail.)

(The second one is a firefly-like, bipedal Pokémon.)

(It has a blue face and large, slanted blue eyes with purple markings at the corners.)

(Surrounding its head are purple curls that frame its face.)

(Its antennae are small and yellow.)

(Its body is black with a blue belly and a yellow bid marking.)

(Its arms and legs are black and are connected to the body by purple borders.)

(It has small wings used for flying with others, and a pattern of three oblong yellow spots on its rear.)

(Dexter says.)

Dexter: "Volbeat, the Firefly Pokemon. A Bug Type Pokemon. Volbeat's tail glows like a lightbulb. With other Volbeat, it uses its tail to draw geometric shapes in the night sky. This Pokémon loves the sweet aroma given off by Illumise. Illumise, the Firefly Pokemon. A Bug Type. Illumise attracts a swarm of Volbeat using a sweet fragrance. Once the Volbeat have gathered, this Pokémon leads the lit-up swarm in drawing geometric designs on the canvas of the night sky."

Misty: "Wow. All these Pokemon are even different types."

(Misty says.)

(Illumise and Volbeat fly to Misty and circle around her with a smile.)

(Then the other Three Pokemon chat with Surskit and Combee.)

(Lavesta and Snom are having a chat with Joltik with glee.)

Misty: "Glad to see everyone is getting along with each other."

(Misty says.)

(Then says.)

Misty: "Come on everyone, let's keep looking."

(Everyone agrees and begins to follow.)

(Misty turns to see the Bug Pokemon and simply smiles.)

(She may have some problems with some Bug Pokemon.)

(she has to admit that some of them are very cute, and sweet.)

(She comes to realize that there are some Bug Pokemon that are okay with her, especially some of the cute ones.)

(Meanwhile, in the jungle, Mew, Tracey, Rose, Pikachu, and Eeve are searching the island for Misty and Tomo.)

(As they walk around the forest, they can see so many different types of Bug Pokemon, even some Shiny Pokemon.)

Mew: "There are so many Bug Pokemon here."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "Yeah. And some are twice as large than their normal size."

(Tracey says.)

(Rose says.)

Rose: "Yeah. Mushi Island is known for having a lot of Bug Pokemon. To protect many of the Bug Pokemon along with the Nature Preserve on the Island, most Pokeballs have been disable so you can't use other Type of Pokemon except for Bug Types in the Preservation area."

Mew: "Really. I guess it's a good thing Pikachu and Eevee are out of their Pokeballs."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "I think you're right. And I have Scyther and Venonat to help us out."

(Tracey says.)

Rose: "And I actually have a few myself."

(Rose says, bringing out her Pokeballs.)

(She throws them to reveal Butterfree, Paras, Cutiefly, and two other Pokemon.)

(One is a beetle-like Pokémon with a large pair of mandibles.)

(Its small orange face has robotic, yellow eyes and is covered by a blue carapace.)

(The mandibles extend from this helmet.)

(They are blue on the inner surface and yellow on the outer surface.)

(At the base of each mandible is a large spike and the inside is lined with short spikes.)

(Its body is black and divided into three sections by yellow rings.)

(The last two sections have a yellow spot on each side.)

(On its back is a pair of wide, flat wings that are transparent with blue elytra.)

(It has four legs; the front pair of legs has two claws, while the back pair has only one.)

(The second is a large head that resembles the body of a ladybug.)

(The shell is red with seven black spots and a black underside.)

(Its face is black and white with yellow antennae that resemble eyebrows and blue eyes with white rings.)

(Its actual body is much smaller.)

(It is mostly black with thin limbs and sharp yellow legs.)

(Its arms have two claws and its feet are pointed.)

Tracey: "Wow. Those are great Pokemon."

(Tracey says.)

Mew: "Yeah. You even have a Vikavolt and a Orbeetle."

(Mew says.)

Rose: "Thanks. I love my Pokemon friends. My mom is actually one of the employees at the Bug Pokemon Nature Preserve on a different side of the Island."

(Rose says.)

Mew: "Sounds like you like Bug Pokemon."

(Mew says.)

Rose: "Yeah. I love Bug Pokemon. My dream is to one day become an Orange Island Gym Leader."

(Rose says.)

Tracey: "Really? A Gym Leader?"

(Tracey asks, interested.)

Rose: "Yeah. For my challenges: First they need to explore the jungle of the Island to reach the battlefield. And then have three on three Pokemon Battles. The trick is, you can only use Bug Pokemon."

(Rose explains.)

Mew: "That's interesting. It will make a great way for Trainers to work together with Bug Type Pokemon."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "Yeah. And you'll have to gain some knowledge on how to use Bug Pokemon along the way."

(Tracey says.)

Rose: "Yes. The Trainer is able to catch some of the Pokemon, but not allowed to capture the Pokemon from the Nature Preserve."

(Rose says.)

Mew: "Sounds like you thought everything out."

(Mew says.)

Rose: "I sure did."

(Rose says.)

(Then says.)

Rose: "Still, I've been meaning to come here. Some of the Bug Pokemon have been disappearing lately, especially from the Nature Preserve."

Tracey: "Disappearing?"

(Tracey says, confused.)

Rose: "Yes. And we've been hearing some strange noises. It's making such a ruckus, many of the villagers have gone deep. Some things it sounds like a loud vacuum."

Mew: "You think someone could be stealing the Pokemon."

(Mew asks.)

Rose: "It's possible."

(Rose says.)

Mew: "Then let's find Misty and Tomo, and then we can help you find out what happened to the Pokemon."

(Mew says.)

Rose: "You want to help?"

(Rose asks, interested.)

Tracey: "Sure. If someone is taking the Pokemon, then we'll do what we can to help."

(Tracey says.)

Rose: "Thanks guys. I really appreciate it. But first, let's go find your friends."

(Rose says.)

Mew: "Right,"

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly, she felt something on her feet.)

(She looks down to see two Pokemon at her feet.)

(One of them is an insectoid Pokémon.)

(It has five body segments and is covered in sensitive setae that it uses to collect information about its environment.)

(The dorsal half of its ovular head is a dark blue, and the ventral half is beige.)

(Its large, reflective eyes resemble glasses.)

(It has a small mouth and eyebrow-like markings that give it a perpetually surprised expression.)

(The second one is a small, insectoid Pokémon.)

(It has a white body with three nubs on either side resembling simple legs.)

(There are two yellow spots on its side.)

(Its head is dominated by two large, yellow mandibles with reddish-orange tips.)

(The rest of its head is brown and has a reddish-orange structure with a yellow rim on top.)

(It has large, black eyes with white pupils.)

Mew: "Oh hello little guys."

(Mew says.)

Rose: "Cool. The one with the yellow spots is a Grubbin, and the one with the large eyes is a Blipbug."

(Rose says.)

Tracey: "I've never seen them before."

(Tracey says.)

(And then, another Pokemon lands on Tracey's head.)

(The Pokemon sits up and calls out.)

Sewaddle: "Sewaddle!"

(The Pokemon is a caterpillar-like Pokémon with a broad, bitten leaf enfolding its head like a hood.)

(Its large, spherical head is an orange-yellow with two small, close-together knobs on its forehead.)

(Its eyes are black and circular, and its mouth has a downward-pointing, crescent-shaped orange snout with a sharp tiny tooth at either end.)

(The underside between the snout and its neck is white.)

(Its green body has three segments with a pair of stubby, spherical orange legs on each segment.)

Mew: "Hey, it's a Sewaddle. How cute."

(Mew says.)

Tracey: "Hey little guy."

(Tracey says.)

Sewaddle: "Sewaddle!" (Hello)

(Sewaddle replies.)

(Mew kneels to the Pokemon.)

Mew: "Hello Grubbin, Blipbug. It's nice to meet you."

(Then asks.)

Mew: "Do you think you can help us? We're looking for a girl with red hair and a boy with spiky blue hair.

(Just then, Grubbin says.)

Grubbin: "Grubb Grubb Grubbin. Grubbin Grubbin. Grub Grub Grubbin" (I've seen them. I saw them in the clearing at the Nature Preserve area. They're not too far from here.)

Blipbug: "Blip Blip Blipbug Blip Blipbug," (And saw them with a group of Bug Pokemon.)

(Blipbug adds.)

(Then Sewaddle says.)

Sewaddle: "Sew Sewaddle! (We can show you!)

(Mew turns to the others.)

Mew: "They know where Misty and Tomo are."

Tracey: "Great. We'll find them in no time."

(Tracey says.)

(Mew then turns to the Pokemon.)

Mew: "Thanks for helping us."

(Then all three answer together saying.)

Grubbin, Blipbug and Sewaddle: "Grubbin/ Blipbug/ Sewaddle" (You're welcome.)

(Curious, Rose asks.)

Rose: "Can you talk to Pokemon because you can talk to them like a conversation."

Mew: "Yeah. I've been able to understand Pokemon all my life. Tomo can too."

(Mew says.)

Rose: "Sounds cool. I guess that explains why some of the Pokemon seem drawn to you."

(Rose says.)

(Mew blushes a bit in reply.)

Mew: "Um thanks. Anyway, Misty and Tomo are in a clearing in the preservation area. The Pokemon said they'll lead us there."

(Back to Misty and Tomo, the two Humans and the Pokemon have been walking for a while that they need to rest.)

(They are sitting at a clear spot that has a small lake with a small waterfall, and a nice grassy patch.)

Misty: "I'm really tired. We've been walking for a while."

(Misty says.)

(Tired, Tomo says.)

Tomo: "Yeah, and my feet are tired."

(Meloetta, Skwovet, Lavesta, Snom, and Joltik agree. Even Togepi, Pichu, and the bug Pokemon agree.)

(Soon, some of their stomachs begin growling.)

(Togepi walks to Misty and rubs tummy with his tiny hands.)

Misty: "Oh, you must be hungry."

(Misty says.)

(Togepi nods his head.)

(Pichu walks over and feels the same. Then, the other Pokemon begin to feel hungry.)

Misty: "Yeah. I'm getting hungry too."

(Misty says.)

(Then she notices.)

Misty: "Where are Illumise and Volbeat?"

(Right on cue, the two Pokemon come back with a large leaf carrying some fruits.)

(Then they place the leaf on the ground.)

Misty: "Are they for us?"

(Misty asks.)

(Illumise and Volbeat nod their heads.)

Tomo: "Thanks guys,"

(Tomo says.)

(The group gathers around and begins to eat the fruits.)

(Suddenly, they hear a familiar sound,)

???: "Misty!"

(Misty and the others stop eating to hear the voice.)

(Then they hear another familiar voice.)

???: "Tomo!"

(And the first voice.)

???: "Tomo! Misty!"

(Then two more familiar voices.)

Pikachu: "Pika Pikachu?!" (Where are you?!)

Eevee: "Eevee Eevee! Eev Eevee!" (Misty! Tomo!)

(Misty and Tomo realize who they are.)

Misty: "That's Mew!"

Tomo: "And Tracey!"

(Tomo says.)

(Misty then calls out.)

Misty: "We're here!"

Tomo: "Mew! Tracey! We're over here!"

(Tomo calls out.)

(A short distance away, they can see Mew, Tracey, Rose, and the other Pokemon walking towards them.)

(Soon, the group arrives to see Misty, Tomo, and the others.)

Mew: "There you guys are."

(Mew says, relieved.)

Tracey: "Are you guys okay?"

(Tracey asks.)

Mew: "You're not hurt, are you?"

(Mew asks.)

Misty: "No, we're fine. And we ended up making some new friends."

(Misty says.)

(The group sees the Bug Pokemon.)

Mew: "I see. We made some new friends too."

(Mew says, showing Grubbin and Blipbug.)

(Tracey also shows them Sewaddle.)

(Then Tracey turns to Rose.)

Tracey: "And this is Rose, she helped us find you, and her mom works in the Preservation area where we're at now.

Misty: "Oh so this place is a preservation area."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "Yeah. And because of that, the Pokeballs have been disable to use other Pokemon instead of Bug Pokemon."

(Mew says.)

Tomo: "So that's why we can't use our other Pokemon instead of our Bug Type ones."

(Tomo says.)

Rose: "Yeah. We're actually not too far from the Nature Preserve building where my mom works. I'm sure the alarm will detect anyone in the area by now, so I can take you there and explain it to my mom."

(Rose says.)

Misty: "Thanks Rose, and it's nice to meet you, I'm Misty."

(Misty says.)

Tomo: "And I'm Tomo."

(Tomo says.)

Rose: "It's nice to meet you."

(Rose says.)

Tracey: "Now that we found you, maybe we can help Rose figure out the Pokemon's disappearance."

(Tracey says.)

(Tomo and Misty become confused.)

Tomo and Misty: "Disappearance?!"

(Just then, they hear a loud and sucking sound a distance away.)

(The group turn their heads to see something coming towards them.)

(Arriving on the scene, it's a giant robot that looks a lot like a Pelipper.)

Rose: "What is that?"

(Rose asks.)

Tracey: "Trouble," Tracey says.

Mew: "And I bet they're responsible for the Bug Pokemon disappearance."

(Mew says.)

(Suddenly a familiar voice says.)

???: "That's right, you little squirts."

???: "Never thought we would find you here of all places."

(Another voice says.)

Misty: "I recognize those voices."

(Misty says.)

(Just then, the hatch opens from the Pelipper head to reveal two familiar figures.)

Cassidy: Prepare for trouble…

Butch: ...and make it double!

Both: Here's our mission, so you better listen!

Cassidy: To infect the world with devastation!

Butch: To blight all people in every nation!

Cassidy: To denounce the goodness of truth and love!

Butch: To extend our wrath to the stars above!

Cassidy: Cassidy!

Butch: And Butch, of course!

Cassidy: We're Team Rocket, circling Earth all day and night!

Butch: Surrender to us now or you will surely lose the fight!

Tracey: "It's Team Rocket!"

(Tracey says, shocked.)

Misty: "Butch and Cassidy!"

(Misty adds, shocked.)

Rose: "Team Rocket?"

(Rose says, confused.)

Mew: "They're a group of bad people who steal Pokemon and use them for bad stuff. We stopped those creeps before."

(Mew says.)

(Then Tomo calls out to them.)

Tomo: "And we'll stop you again."

Cassidy: "You really think so. Well, thanks to our Pelipper Robot we can suck and hold a lot of Bug Type Pokemon."

(Cassidy says.)

Butch: "And we got pretty rare ones from the Preserve."

(Butch says.)

Mew: "You won't get away with this!"

(Mew calls out.)

Cassidy: "That's what you think."

(Cassidy says.)

Butch: "Yeah. With our powerful our Pelipper we can suck you all up."

(Butch says.)

(With that, Cassidy and Butch duck back inside the control room of their robot.)

(Butch then activates the machine and begins to suck up the area.)

(Mew and her friends try their best to hold the Pokemon and do their best to protect them.)

(Misty then calls out.)

Misty: "Surskit, use Bubble Beam!"

(Surskit then performs the attack to hit the robot, but it doesn't have much effect.)

Tracey: "It didn't work!"

(Tracey says.)

Misty: "We have to do something."

(Misty says.)

(Just then, Tomo along with Larvesta, Snom, Joltick, Meloetta and Skwovet get sucked into the machine.)

(Then Tracey and Sewaddle.)

(Mew and Rose end up getting sucked in along with the Pokemon.)

Misty: "No guys!"

(Misty cries out.)

(Then turns to Combee.)

Misty: "Combee, use Swift!"

(Combee then begins to perform Swift, but the attack isn't working on the robot.)

(Misty is shocked to see the attack doesn't work, but she continues to hang on to the Pokemon she has become friends with.)

(Misty struggles and soon, Dewpider, Fomantis, Sizzlipede, Volbeat, and Illumise have been suched inside the robot.)

Misty: "No!"

(Misty cries out.)

(Then calls you.)

Misty: "Quick Combee, Air Cutter! Surskit, use Aqua Jet!"

(With that, Combee and Surskit begin to combine their attacks.)

(Surskit performs Aqua Jet as Combee performs Air Cutter.)

(Both attacks combine to push the robot back and make it fall to the side.)

(Just then, Cassidy and Butch comes out of their robot and hold out their Pokeballs.)

Cassidy: "Alright kid, if you want a battle you're going to get one."

(Cassidy says.)

(She throws her Pokeball.)

Cassidy: "Go Pinsir!"

(Then Butch throws his Pokeball.)

Butch: "Go Beedrill!"

(With that, Pinsir and Beedrill come out of their Pokeballs.)

(Misty then says.)

Misty: "Alright, we'll give you a battle."

(Then Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Surskit, use Bubble Beam!"

(Surskit then performs Bubble Beam, and attacks Beedrill.)

(Then Cassidy calls out.)

Cassidy: "Pinsir, use Fury Cutter!"

(Pinsir then performs Furry Cutter and heads towards Combee and Surskit.)

Misty: "Quick dodge!"

(Misty calls out.)

(They both quickly dodge the attack.)

(Then Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Combee, use Swift!"

(Combee then performs Swift.)

(Then Butch calls out.)

Butch: "Beedrill, use Fury Attack!"

(Beedrill then performs Fury Attack at the Swift Attack, and is able to repel all the attack.)

(Then Butch calls out.)

Butch: "Use Pin Missile!"

(Beedrill then performs Pin Missile and is able to strike at Combee with full force.)

(Then Cassidy calls out.)

Cassidy: "Pinsir, use X-Scissor!"

(And Pinsir performs the attack and strikes at Surskit with full force.)

(Both of Misty's Pokemon fall to the ground and struggle to get up.)

Misty: "Surskit! Combee! Are you alright? Can you still battle?"

(Misty asks, concerned.)

(Combee and Surskit struggle to get up.)

(Then Cassidy says.)

Cassidy: "Let's finish this! Now Pinsir, use Take Down!"

(With that, Pinsir begins to perform the Take Down attack.)

Misty: "Combee! Surskit!"

(Misty cries out and rushes towards them.)

(She then quickly gets in front of them, and gets tackled by the Take Down attack.)

(Surskit and Combee are forced to watch as Misty is sent flying over them and crashes to the ground.)

(Surskit and Combee rush to Misty to see if she's okay.)

(Misty struggles to get up and smiles.)

Misty: "I'm okay. Are you both okay?"

(Surskit and Combee then snuggle Misty in gratitude.)

(Then, they both stand in front of Misty and ready to define her.)

(Just then, they both begin to glow.)

(Misty gapss in surprise.)

(Cassidy, Butch, and their Pokemon are just as surprised.)

Cassidy: "What's happening?!"

(Cassidy asks, shocked.)

Butch: "It can't be..."

(Butch says, shocked.)

(Misty says in surprise.)

Misty: "They're evolving..."

(Both Pokemon begin to change form, and are both growing bigger.)

(When the light disappears, they both have evolved into their new form.)

(Surskit is now a light blue Pokémon with two pairs of rhombus-shaped wings on each side of its body.)

(Its head is shaped like an elongated teardrop with a pink face and round, black eyes.)

(On either side of its head is a large antenna that resembles an angry eye.)

(The antennae are white with pink along the lower rim.)

(White lines along the rim resemble eyelashes, while a large, dark pink dot in the middle represents the pupil or iris.)

(These eyespots are used to intimidate enemies.)

(Combee is now a bee-like Pokémon with a typical insect-like, three-part body, i.e.)

(divided into an abdomen, thorax, and head.)

(It has a yellow- and black-striped abdomen, which flares out from a thin, waist-like protrusion under its thorax in a manner that resembles an elegant ball gown.)

(Underneath the expansive abdomen are seven orange, honeycomb-like cells.)

(She also has black arms that each consist of two thin, conical segments.)

(Each arm ends in two small, orange claws.)

(It flies with a pair of relatively small wings, each of which consists of two stacked, translucent teardrop segments.)

(Her arms and wings attach to its round thorax, which is yellow on the front, black on the back, and orange on each side where its arms attach.)

(A curved line on its back, between its orange shoulders, separates its thorax and waist.)

(Her head consists of its face and horns.)

(Its orange face has intimidating red eyes; yellow mandibles that protrude from its face and connect to its horns.)

(and a large, red gem on its forehead.)

(And her horns are yellow close to its face and black at the tips, and with the gem.)

(Just then, Surskit's new form flies in the air and performs what looks like an Air Slash attack, which is enough to break apart the large beak of the robot, and everyone is free.)

(Then Combee's new form performs a powerful Signal Beam and fires at the two Pokemon. Knocking them out.)

(Mew and the others including the Pokemon are able to get out through the opening and hurry towards Misty.)

Mew: "Misty, are you alright?"

(Mew asks.)

Misty: "I'm okay. A little bruised is all."

(Misty says.)

(Tomo then asks.)

Tomo: "Did Surskit and Combee evolve?"

Misty: "They did."

(Misty says.)

Tracey: "That's amazing, Surskit is a Masquerain now."

(Tracey says, amazed.)

Rose: "And your Combee is a Vespiquen."

(Rose adds.)

Misty: "Amazing,"

(Misty says.)

(Cassidy and Butch then call back their Pokemon.)

Cassidy: "Our Pokemon have been crushed."

(Cassidy says.)

Butch: "And we lost the Pokemon we caught."

(Butch says.)

(Then Misty steps in.)

Misty: "And I'm going to make sure to save these Bug Pokemon. It's time for you to 'Buzz off'"

(Then Misty calls out.)

Misty: "Masquerain, use Whirlwind! Vespiquen, use Silver Wind!"

(With that, both Pokemon begin to perform their attack and begin to blow Team Rocket's Pokemon towards them, and to send them flying in the air.)

Cassidy: "I think we really got winded this time."

(Cassidy screams.)

Butch: "And those kids are really starting to bug us!"

(Butch screams.)

Cassidy: "Those kids are nothing but pests!"

(Cassidy screams.)

(As they been sent flying Cassidy and Butch scream.)

Cassidy and Butch: "We're blasting off again!"

(After Team Rocket is gone.)

(and later in the day, Mew and her friends are ready to go.)

(After that, it turns out that the Bug Pokemon want to go with Mew and the others.)

Misty: "So you sure it's okay for them to come with us?"

(Misty asks.)

Rose: "I don't mind at all. Besides, they are very happy to be with you."

(Rose says.)

Misty: "Thanks Rose."

(Misty says.)

Mew: "And thanks for helping us."

(Mew says.)

Rose: "I should be the one thanking you. You helped save the Pokemon from Team Rocket, especially you Misty."

(Rose says.)

Misty: "Thanks."

(Misty says.)

(Tomo soon notices.)

Tomo: "Hey Mew, your backpack is shaking."

(Mew turns to her backpack and quickly opens it.)

(Then brings out her glowing Pokemon Egg.)

Mew: "It's hatching."

(Mew says.)

(She removes the lid as the others watch the egg glow.)

(Finally, the Pokemon Egg pops and a new baby Pokemon is born.)

(Soon, the baby Pokemon is revealed to be a Fomantis.)

Misty: "It's a Fomantis."

(Misty says.)

Rose: "And a very healthy one too."

(Rose says.)

(Mew looks down to Fomantis and happily says.)

Mew: "Hello Fomantis, welcome."

(The little Fomantis smiles and wraps scythe-like arms around Mew's face.)

(The group begins laughing with a smile, and welcomes the new Pokemon.)

(After that, Mew and her friends are sailing out to sea with Lapras as they wave goodbye to Rose and her Pokemon, and the other Pokemon on the island.)

(And they have one crazy adventure, but everything turns out well in the end.)

(Mew and the others have new Pokemon, Misty is scared of bugs anymore, and Mew has a new baby Pokemon.)

(And soon new adventures will await them.)
