บท 84: The Lonely Road

A short while later, Cora and Jared went down to the buffet so that she could have some dinner. Jared grabbed them each a glass of red wine and they went outside to a table under the stars. She had picked an assortment of foods including three desserts. Jared chuckled when he saw what she was eating.

He handed her the wine and tried to relax. Jared lit a cigarette that Cora promptly stole.

"I have been craving these something fierce," Cora sighed. "At least we can get drunk and pass out tonight." Jared sighed looking uncomfortable.

"What? You don't want to drink?" Cora asked him.

He shrugged and took a gulp of his wine. "Maybe we should just get some rest."
