บท 108: A very normal heat, all things considered

Maxwell sat nervously, twitching with every sound that came from behind him. If he was honest with himself, it wasn't just Andrew who was worried about people entering the house. 

Maxwell was too. He was worried that they would see him and how he had been. What he had been during his most recent heat. It felt…hell, he hadn't even discussed the details with Andrew yet. It felt too fresh, too new to be discussing it with him yet. That, and his heat wasn't full over yet. 

Needless to say, it was a lot, and Dr. Smith and Kim arriving when they did, it had sent Andrew into a fit. Maxwell could sense it, and the pheromones that had leaked from him warned of possession. Of defense. And Maxwell had to pretend that he wasn't as hard as a rock the whole fucking time either.
