บท 65: Chapter 65

Audrey:

I frowned when I woke up and did not find Vladimir inside the room.

The fact that I knew that I was in pain yesterday was not something that I liked, and though I did not understand what he had in mind, I knew that it was serious.

I walked out of the room only to smile when I found Lili sitting with Vladimir on the couch on our floor.

"I am going to stay here?" Lili asked Vladimir. He hummed in response and lifted her to sit his right knee, smiling at her.

"That is, of course, if you want to stay. I know that you like Audrey. I figured that you can stay with her. What do you think?" He said, not turning her face me. I knew that he was well aware that I was behind him, but I knew that he wanted me to hear what the child had to say.

My heart skipped a beat when she nodded excitedly, and I couldn't help but find myself smiling.
