"Brother Talot, are you alright? You look like you have something on your mind."
Salari shifted her attention to Talot and asked.
Hearing the question, Talot was momentarily taken aback and realized he had once again become lost in thoughts about the original work.
"It's nothing, just thinking about how surprising it is that a planet like this would even have life," he said, shaking his head slightly, and then turned to head back to the pilot's seat.
Salari didn't think much of it and followed him, taking a seat next to him.
"Hold on tight. We're about to land on Planet Namek."
At Talot's reminder, Salari also fastened her seatbelt and nodded to indicate that there were no problems.
…
Meanwhile,
On Namek.
On the largest island, inside the house where the Namekian Grand Elder resided.
The elderly Grand Elder awoke from his rest, a solemn expression appearing on his face as though sensing something.
"Ragar."
The Grand Elder called out.
Moments after he spoke, Ragar, who had been guarding the door, quickly entered and approached the Grand Elder.
"Grand Elder-sama, is there anything you require of me?" Ragar bowed respectfully and asked.
Although he appeared vastly younger, Ragar was Grand Elder's child and was also the most outstanding among the Namekians of this era, and the current strongest warrior on Namek.
"Ragar, I need you to do something. Two visitors from another planet have arrived on Planet Namek. I need you to bring them here," the Grand Elder said, his aged voice carrying solemnity.
Compared to the Grand Elder in the original work, this one, though still old, wasn't as frail and could still speak with strength.
Twenty years is not long for a Namekian, but for one nearing the end of life, it is not short either.
"Visitors from another planet? Aliens?" Ragar asked, surprised.
He wanted to ask more, but the Grand Elder said with a solemn expression, "Don't worry; they are not enemies. Go and bring them here."
"But….Alright, I understand! Grand Elder, I'll get it done right away." Though he wanted to ask more, seeing his expression, Ragar didn't dare question the Grand Elder's instructions.
He left the room and, following the coordinates the Grand Elder had given him, rushed into the sky with explosive speed, heading towards the location thousands of miles away.
…
Meanwhile, on Talot's side.
The spaceship successfully passed through Namek's atmosphere and locked onto a flat, open island.
As the spaceship landed, the hatch opened quickly.
Talot and Salari stepped out, breathing in the air of Planet Namek.
"So this is the real environment of Planet Namek. The air is actually pretty fresh," Salari said.
From space, the planet had appeared emerald green, yet on land, it wasn't the ground that was green. Instead, it was as though the sky was enveloped in a greenish veil of light.
"It's not much different from what I imagined," Talot replied.
Looking around, all they could see were ring-shaped islands in every direction. The land wasn't connected, appearing as if it had been split up, with gaps now filled by water.
Honestly, although there wasn't much plant or animal life, the scenery was still pretty nice.
Planet Namek now looked exactly what Talot remembered of the original work.
Even after twenty years, it seemed that Planet Namek's environment hadn't improved much.
After all, twenty years might be a long time for ordinary life forms, but it's brief in the context of nature.
Suddenly, a powerful aura appeared in their Ki Sense, drawing their attention as well as making them alert.
"Someone really strong is coming this way. They must have sensed our aura," Talot's expression slightly changed as he looked toward the distant sky.
As he expanded his Ki Sense further, the intensity of the aura caused Talot to gasp.
Judging by the strength of the aura, and if converted to power level, it was at least over 40,000!
From what he knew, the only Namekian with such a high power level on Namek in the original work was the Grand Elder's guard, Nail.
But… was Nail even born yet? It was only Age 738. Though it would be 739 soon, Nail was supposedly created by the Grand Elder in Age 744.
"Brother Talot…that Namekians' aura is…so strong!" Salari's face turned pale as the aura drew closer.
The shock was inevitable; the power gap was enormous.
This level of aura was something she'd never felt before. A power level over 10,000 was beyond her imagination.
"Don't worry. Stay calm," Talot reassured her.
He had thought that his current power level of 14,000 would be more than enough against Namekian warriors, but this changed everything. He had clearly underestimated the Namekians, and now he had a gap in his understanding.
In the distance, a streak of light appeared on the horizon, approaching at an incredible speed until a massive Namekian landed in front of them.
The sheer, intimidating pressure not only made Salari freeze in place, but also caused Talot to frown as he felt a tingling sensation on his scalp.
The gap was just too vast.
His scouter quickly emitted a series of danger alarms, calculating the power level with maximum speed.
55,000!
This power level was 13,000 points higher than the future Nail's 42,000 in the original work!
Who is he?!
He wasn't in the original work!
"So, it's you? The visitors from another planet," Ragar said, his gaze sweeping over Talot and Salari with a hint of surprise in his eyes.
He hadn't expected that the ones who'd come to Namek would be two children.
