A few months had passed.

Lucien was now 9 months old; he could understand most of what Marigold and Helen were saying, piecing together bits of their conversation.

He learned that he was the duke's only son, which would make him the heir of the duchy.

'If I'm the duke's heir, why am I living in the middle of nowhere, essentially abandoned?' He pondered.

'Maybe it's for my protection?' A brief thought appeared in his mind, but Lucien didn't pay much attention to it and focused on his daily activities.

Lucien sighed a little. He had been completing daily quests every single day and accumulating over 27 points.

'If it goes on like this, it will take forever to accumulate 100 points.'

He began to think about his daily quests and a perverted smile adorned his face. 'Hehehe'.

He recalled the day when he began doing naughty stuff with Marigold.

'Although she resisted a lot in the beginning, she now looks at me expectantly whenever I drink her milk at night.'

Even though he did perverted stuff with her, it was undeniable that he got closer to Marigold and their maid, Helen.

At the mention of Helen, Lucien's face dropped a little. Every week, Helen would make a trip alone through the forest to the nearest town for supplies.

It took three hours to go to the town and another three to get back to the mansion. A few days ago, on her way to the mansion, a group of goblins attacked the carriage.

Although Helen was fine since she is quite powerful herself, it still worried the mother-son pair and Marigold banned Helen from leaving the mansion gates, fearing it might happen to her.

Two days ago, Lucien uttered his first words, "Mama." It brought immense joy to Marigold and Helen.

Marigold was all smiles and would bug him every minute to call her'mama'.

"Say it again, Lucien," Marigold cooed, her eyes sparkling with joy.

Lucien, sensing her happiness, obliged with a soft "Mama."

Marigold clapped her hands in delight, and Helen beamed with pride.

Watching their reactions, Lucien sighed inwardly, 'Acting as a baby is tough!'.

'Well, I guess it's fine since I got to see them smile.' He thought.

Three more months have passed, and Lucien is now a year old.

The gloomy mansion had become more lively than usual as a few more maids had arrived at the mansion at Marigold's request.

"Happy birthday, Lucien!" Marigold congratulated, her voice laced with happiness.

"Mama!" Lucien called out, giggling.

'Ugh! I tell you, acting like a baby is the toughest job on the planet.' he thought, grumbling. 'Wait, no. Watching mom and Helen take out my diapers without shame is the toughest job.'

Lucien's eyes widened a little, reading the system's new quest.

*SIGH*

'Finally! I was wondering when I would get another quest.' he thought while sighing in exhaustion.

He was tired of getting only 0.1 points per day, and although he would only get another 0.1 points, he was satisfied.

'Well, at least I am doubling the income'.

A few minutes later, Marigold put him down on the floor, saying that she would show the mansion to the new maids, and left with Helen.

Lucien stared at the door and after he confirmed that no one would come anytime soon. He stood up with much effort, using his hands as support.

He wobbled around as if he were about to fall on his buttocks, but he caught one of the bed's legs, supporting himself.

*Phew*

He sighed in relief, clenched his baby fists in determination, and mumbled, 'Alright, let's do this.'

He slowly let go of the leg and began walking—one step, two steps,... sixth step—and he fell down.

'Dammit! Walking in a baby's body is hard!' He grumbled in annoyance, but still, with determination to complete the quest, he stood up and continued walking.

Finally, Lucien walked a full meter, reaching the requirement set by the system.

Lucien fell down on his butt after the system message appeared.

'Yesss! Let's go! Yoohoo!' Lucien exclaimed inwardly in joy that he had completed his new daily quest. But what was heard on the outside was cute baby giggles.

"Lucien, you can walk?" Marigold's voice sounded across the room. She had come when Lucien was taking his third step but froze in shock when she saw him trying to walk.

And Lucien was too focused on walking and didn't notice his mother walking in.

She rushed over, scooping him up in her arms. "My little Lucien is growing up so fast!" she exclaimed, tears of happiness welling up in her eyes.

Four years later,

*Slurp, slurp, slurp*

"Mmmhh~ Lucien~ slowly~" Marigold muttered in her sleep while she lazily ruffled his hair.

"Okay mama~" Lucien answered, but continued sucking in her breasts. That's right. Even though Lucien was now five years old, he still kept sucking on Marigold's breasts. And much to his surprise, she produced milk! Leaving Lucien astonished.
