Kelly’s POV

I was drinking coffee while staring at the beach when I felt a pair of warm arms wrapped around my waist. I smiled as I smelled Pierce’s familiar scent as his lips gently landed a kiss on my neck.

“Why are you still here?”

He stood beside me after hugging me and stared at my face. He even caressed my cheek and tucked my hair behind my ear.

“Just having some fresh air.”

He looked at the sea and rested his arm on the railing. The sky was dark but full of stars. The waves are wild and full of mystery. It’s fascinating how nature could blend beautifully. It’s like a mystery. A magic.

“What do you think about a house on a beach?” He broke the silence and it immediately affected me. My heart raced like it has been a million years since I last talked to him like this. I missed him.

“It’s nice,” I answered honestly and smiled. “Relaxing and beautiful.”
