“I can get another room,” Pierce said as soon as we entered the hotel room assigned to us.

I roamed my eyes around before looking at him. I smiled. “It’s fine with me.”

He stared at my face, worried. “I’ll sleep on the couch, then.”

“The bed is large,” I said again as I stared at the queen sized bed. “We will fit.”

When I landed my gaze on him again, I saw how intense his stares were. He was standing a few meters away from me but I could feel the heat from his body. It’s like spreading the invisible fire between us, driving my body insanely hot.

“I don’t know why my feelings for you were getting even more deeper when you told me you’re carrying my child…”

He started walking towards me. He was so slow, but I can see aggression in his eyes as if he’s just restraining the inner beast in him. He wanted to devour me, as his eyes told, and I wanted to be devoured. Insanely.
