A gentle smile spread over Karna's lips as he observed his reaction. Then, he clapped his hands, the sound reverberating through the tunnel to stop him.

"Enough. You had no one to guide you and fumbled in an unfamiliar environment. You should raise your head at the level you reached despite the other lords' threats and the gods' pressure."

He gripped both of Adam's pauldrons, his scarlet eyes peering into his emerald.
