บท 198: Do You Want To Be King?  

"You didn't fail me," I assured Zuhn'thian as I cupped his cheeks and gently kissed his forehead between his massive horns. "You are my knight in shining armor; I couldn't ask for anything more."

Calling him my knight in this setting felt right, and I refused to think too much about it.

"But the Rein has clearly gone crazy," argued Zuhn'thian, not letting himself accept my forgiveness, even though I was sincere. "He wants you dead, and now so does the entire planet. The longer he sits on the throne, the more your life is in danger, and I cannot allow it."

"Only if we stay on this planet," I shrugged. "I don't know if you know this or not, but it is a big universe out there. I am sure we can find a planet where the Rein can't touch us."
