Maybe 10 minutes later, we were all sitting down at a ginormous dining room table big enough to fit at least 40 humans.

It was covered from one end to the other with various dishes of food, most of which I had never seen before in my life.

Zua'the, always the attentive one, had gotten me a plate with almost everything on it. Since I wasn't able to tell him one way or another what I liked, we were going to figure it all out together. I was just keeping my fingers crossed that I wasn't actually allergic to anything.

I wasn't on earth, but that meant nothing at the moment.

Fluffy jumped up on the table beside me and looked at the offering in front of him, nodding his head. He nibbled on something before handing it up to me. Letting out a small sigh of relief that I now had my own personal taste tester, I plucked what looked like a berry out of his front paws.
