บท 48: Product of "Will of Fire"
"I think Third Hokage will not going to do that!" One of the Konoha Ninja pointed Xin and angry said.
"That's right! Hokage-sama is benevolent and peace loving person! How can he just disregard the sacrifice of us!"
"You're lying! You are just jealous to Hokage-sama!"
"That's right! Your jealous!"
Looking at them, Xin know they are all the product of 'Will of Fire', sacrificing your self for the good of the Village.
But what they don't know is, the person who they idolizing is actually the one who plucking the tender leaf of the huge tree.
They are poison to core, they think that sacrificing their self for the good of Konoha will make them all Hero.
Hero?
That's a title of dead person, it's easy to become hero than becoming a Ninja, a sacrifice will make you Hero but leaving your love once nothing.
"You will see it after you get back, after all, Sarutobi Hiruzen already did that in the end of First Ninja War."
First Ninja War
This is the time when Second Hokage died from the ambush of Kumo Shinobi Rebels.
Without getting anything, he choose to compromise and sign a piece of paper to end the war.
No compensation, no resources
Konoha Village Win the First Ninja War but they got nothing except a mountain of corpse that sacrifice for Konoha.
Nara Shinobi is silent, he is smart person, he knows what happen in the end of Second Ninja War.
Even though the Konoha Village Win the War, the people who join only get a small compensation, a small money that they can get if they finish couple of non deadly mission.
So small for the sacrifice of a single Ninja.
Looking at them, Xin suddenly asked." Do you know the total casualty of Sarutobi and the other three Elder Clan?"
"Hokage-sama use his family to help the village! They sacrifice so much for us!"
"That's right! I heard that even the Hokage-sama's son is send to help the village!"
"And the same as the three Elder Clan, they sacrifice so much for the Village."
Xin look at them as if he looking at fools, his looks made the Konoha Ninjaore angry.
Shaking his head, Xin take out a paper and start to read.
"War Order! Name: Sarutobi Clan, Number of Participants: 56, Strength: 30 Chunin, 10 Genin, 10 Jonin, 6 Elite Jonin, Position: Medical Ninja."
Everyone suddenly change, the face of the Konoha Ninja looks weird as if they heard something wrong.
"Same as the Sarutobi, the three other Clan send same number of Ninja, at same time, they are all put on different position... Behind the Konoha Army as reserve or Medical Ninja."
Xin look at them." Now so you know how many of them survive?"
Nara Shinobi shakes his head, no one is fool, behind the army is the safest place to any individual, much more that not single young ninja is left behind the Army.
"The casualty of the four clan is"0" the only wound they got is when one of Sarutobi accidentally vmcut his finger while playing with Kunai."
"Now tell me, how can you said that they sacrifice so much when they did not even step on the actual battlefield?"
"The only wound they get comes from playing Kunai? Much important is, the four Ninaja Clan don't have any knowledge or expertise in Healing Jutsu? So how they help?"
"I can't understand how you guys are blind when Ninja required to hame sharp eyes. Is your eyes is just decorations and your guys are group of fools?"
