บท 13: Tribulation
Cui Wen still immersed in his Soul Palace creation did not notice the distant crowd gathering in the distance. Even some teachers looking for him decided to watch the tribulation.
The thunder continued rumbling in the dark clouds.
"I just can't believe it.. Soul Palace at fifteen?" A student in disbelief at Cui Wens talent said.
"He is a true genius, even the Royal Xi family cannot compete with out Cui Wens talent!" The same bootlicker from the arena days before said shouting.
Hearing this bold remark a few students agreed while others simply gave him a disdainful look.
The teachers contacted the Headmaster and the other seniors to come and apprehend Cui Wen after.
The teachers still searching in the Cui Clan retreated back immediately. Not only did they ransack the Cui Clan territory they even accused them. However who would have thought Cui Wen was still in the academy!
In the distance Guo Xiao Hui and Bai Yuhang stood acknowledging this arrogant Junior.
"This Junior is not normal.." Bai Yuhang said towards Guo Xiao Hui.
"So? I will still teach him a lesson.." The girl said with a pout on her face.
Eventually the tribulation strikes struck down on Cui Wen.

And at the supposed last ninth tribulation bolt it didn't stop, the heaven was rejecting Cui Wens breakthrough to Soul Palace.
Soon he completed his breakthrough, Cui Wen stood up preparing to tackle the incoming tribulation strike.
His strength had increased by atleast fifteen times just breaking through. After consolidating his cultivation it would surely double or triple again.
Seeing the surrounding students and teachers he knew instinctively they were eying him, not like a talent but like an enemy.
"Keke, you think you can catch me? I have a system, try me." Cui Wen said to himself looking around one last time.
The tribulation clouds turned a even darker shade before a rumbling was heard. This phenomenon was the heaven personally interfering casting a stronger tribulation.
Lightning flickered dangerously before striking.
Boom!
The last tribulation strike hit Cui Wen however he wasn't so bothered, with the water muated lightning spirit roots he absorbed most of the tribulation dao storing it in his Soul Palace.
Taking a deep breath he faced the teachers in the distance.
"Is there anything I can help with?" Cui Wen said his voice heard clearly by the hundreds of students and few teachers.
"Student Cui Wen you need to come with us." The elder older teacher said coldly.
"For what reason?" Cui Wen asked with no care in the word ready to teleport to his cultivation space.
"Insolent! Brat you must understand you hurt hundreds of students almost killing them!" The Elder replied in anger.
"So? Not my fault they are weak, also it was self defense. I felt my life threatened so I merely proceeded with punishing those who tried to eliminate me." Cui Wen continued with a stern gaze not giving up.
"Y-you!" The Elder said in frustration before ordering the nearby teachers to apprehend him.
"Hmph, trying to catch me Cui Wen? Simply foolish! Your academy is lucky to have such a genius like me and you treat me like this?" Cui Wen boldly remarked seeing them flying towards him slowly not thinking he could escape.

However the teachers stopped closing in on him feeling the Headmasters presence.
An old almost sage like man stepped out from the sky out of nowhere.
"Boy you truly are arrogant causing trouble in my academy." The old man Xi Jiangha said gazing upon Cui Wen like an ant.
"Arrogant for what, defending myself? Also you truly are a great educator capable of raising assassins in your academy. I truly commend you for your deeds." Cui Wen snorted before stepping into the cultivation space vanishing out of nowhere.
"Huh?! I can't sense him!" Xi Jiangha said in confusion seeing the student disappear from a King Realm cultivator...
The students gasped in surprise seeing Cui Wens last words before disappearing from the face of the earth..
"How!" Guo Xiao Hui remarked in surprise seeing the young man disappear..
"Hahaha!!" Bai Yuhang could not stop laughing seeing this arrogant foolish junior disappearing.

Meanwhile back in the Cui Clan.
News came extremely fast of Cui Wens successful breakthrough to Soul Palace. The patriarch immediately gathered all the elders to a meeting.
Sitting in the weird looking throne he waited for each Elder to arrive. Minutes passed by until everyone was in place. A total of 40 Elders nearing the King Realm gathered.
"Greetings to you all, the reason I gathered everyone was for Cui Wens advancement to the Soul Palace realm." Patriarch Cui Longyi spoke with pride.
Cui Fengs parents Elder Yiyi and her husband were extremely shocked. The genius just kept being more monstrous!
Instantly all the leaders laughed in satisfaction finally having a good seedling.
"I already knew he was a genius for reaching Gold Core at fifteen but now Soul Palace! Truly a one in a millenia genius." One Elder said stroking his beard, this was Cui Wens grandfather Cui Shu.
The other Elders agreed and said their praises.
Waiting for them to calm down Patriarch Cui Longyi adressed something else.
"So, I am sure you all are aware of the fact the Great Royal Xi Academy came to our territory looking for him. Apparently Cui Wen attacked hundreds of students injuring them and permanently damaged their meridians in a fit of rage after an assassination attempt." Cui Longyi explained.
Some Elders already aware of this nodded while others cursed the academy in anger.
"However the problem is Cui Wen never came to the clan. This shows he doesn't value us as a trustfully backing. Honestly we haven't given the boy any kinds of medicine, rare elixirs or tools. This is something we need to change, from now we should focus on nurturing him 100% before he goes astray." The Patriarch sounded planning for the future.
Immediately Elder Yiyi, her husband alongside a dozen other Elders voiced their complaints supporting other geniuses. Cui Wens grandfather simply scoffed at them staying silent.
"This is non negotiable the ancestor has agreed." The Patriarch sounded once again silencing them.
"A-Ancestor!!?" An Elder said in disbelief.
The last time the Cui Ansector did anything in the clan or even showed himself was hundreds of years ago. No one knows his name apart from Ancestor and the man stays in seclusion keeping away from the worldly affairs. It is also rumored he is a Emperor Realm powerhouse...
The Elders not able to defy the Heavenly mysterious Ancestor nodded in agreement eventually.
"Good, prepare one million spirit stones alongside different elixirs and pills for the soul palace Realm. Oh and don't forget to add a few relics or talismans." The Patriarch said to the servant.
"Yes, Patriarch."The man said humbly before stepping out.
Cui Longyi waving them off, the elders left shortly after. With a sigh he contacted Cui Wens parents currently deployed fighting the otherworld invaders.
