Then Megan dropped unconscious on the floor. The men were released from her hold the moment she hit. Both Gabriel and Sam crouched beside her.

"She's not used to channeling that kind of power. Her body could only keep it up for a short time." Gabriel shook his head as he looked at his wife in awe.

Sam chuckled smirking at his brother. "I knew she'd be a powerhouse. Imagine how powerful she would be if she was fully claimed?"

"Megan is fully claimed." Gabriel pulled aside his collar to show Sam his mark.

"So what, Gabriel. You think because she gave you that mark you have somehow sidestepped the issue of consent. She has to willingly agree to be claimed for it to be completed. You know this. There are consequences to claiming a mate by force. I can't believe you would try it. You're supposed to be the good sibling." Sam picked Megan up off the ground while Gabriel stared at him unable to respond.
