บท 43: End of the Day

The man had jumped.

Time seemed to have slowed down. He wailed as his body tumbled helplessly through the air. The people screamed, some covered their eyes and others were frozen in horror.

Conrad clenched his teeth, and his fingers twitched.

With a sharp flick of his wrist, he sent the coin hurtling through the air. It moved faster than the eye could follow, its Aura leaving a faint red streak in its wake. The coin zipped beneath the cloth and struck the ground precisely where Connie had aimed it.

'Now'

As it struck the pavement, the Aura within it erupted, its shimmer spread across the impact zone in a controlled manner. However, it was invisible to those who couldn't perceive Aura.

When the man hit, the cloth gave way as expected. But instead of a fatal crash, he bounced.
