As the new President Peter's inauguration address concluded, the world started to buzz in response to the president's first speech Multiple Television coverage concluded his address in either positive or negative light depending on their allegiance.
"Ladies and Gentleman we have just tuned in on President Peter van Nassau's inauguration address, just now in the national mall and wow you can feel the raw power and sincerity from the young president, I feel like I got goosebumps, joining me on this historic day, CNN senior political analyst Michael Kaizer, Mike what's your thoughts on the new president's address ?" said the overly passionate CNN news anchor, a staunch supporter of Peter van Nassau, ever since he ran for office.
"Well Lisa, certainly the president's speech gave us a sense of hope, that despite his young age, he showed an air of maturity way beyond his age, but yet gave a sort of relatable demeanor not seen in your average DC politician haha haha" they both gave the most dry business laugh ever heard on television.
"But joking aside, his speech struck a chord with the most important subjects in recent times, social welfare, medicare, and banking accountability post the great recession, needless to say, I am looking forward to seeing how far he will address these issues" concluded the CNN political analyst clearly hopeful for the future, with a president who shared his value.
On the other side of the spectrum is the coverage opposing his view.
"well folks you have just seen it live with us, the first speech by our new commander-in-chief Peter van Nassau, and I have to admit for a guy that has so much charisma I was not impressed, this speech is so dragged out and boring, I feel like halfway I started to doze off," said the Fox News presenter trying to discredit Peter's speech in sarcasm.

"well it certainly is quite boring, I feel like a pigeon could give a better oration, HAHAHAHA" They both laughed maniacally at the sarcastic rebuttal.
"he certainly isn't as charming as Reagan or as passionate a Bush Senior, it just goes to show that wisdom comes with age, he is still a kid he doesn't know how to lead' he only sat in Congress for 2 terms for crying out loud' this is insanity, I feel like it will not be a conspiracy to say that he is a pawned for the globalist agenda, or the democrat suits and donor. This will be a puppet presidency" The show on Fox News continues on for several more minutes to slander and devalue Peter's character.
As for those in power, the reaction varies too most saw him as the beacon of hope while some saw opportunity in him and others saw him as a weak young president, green to the harsh world of global politics.

"although tell Chairman Zao, that he should do the Taiwan test again, to see how far this kid is willing to respond to military provocation, I am hoping he will give me a good fight" The man smiled lightly thinking that his plan could be implemented far sooner than he expected.
Meanwhile in the supernatural world, although the supernaturals rarely keep an eye on human politics, since there are definite exceptions for the strongest human nation currently, the supernatural leaders tune in to give their evaluation.

Multiple other factions and/or pantheons reactions are varied some were eager some just didn't care but what was sure, the supernatural world wouldn't just be a neutral spectator in The US Supernatural politics.
Meanwhile the most important people to Pete's presidency, the American people themselves celebrated, the peaceful transition of power, at least most of them, while some expressed their dissatisfaction through words or other peaceful forms, as it should be.
Evidently, the presidency of Peter van Nassau would not be as peaceful as he would've hoped, either internal or external. Temporal or supernatural. He would have to face all sorts of eventual dramas of this Brave New World.
